The room was very big and has its own balcony. Also was extremely clean. The people in reception was very polite and welcome but sometimes they were working alone and really busy and we had to wait a long time. The staff in the bar (terrace) was appalling. The need more training in customer service. We spoke with few guest during the stay and they thought the same. We did not spend any money in the hotel (no even breakfast!). Room service was very slow, every time we ask for hot water to make baby bottles it took a long time. I think the are trying to save money cutting staff and it not helping because guest wont return to this hotel again.

Building and its location are excellent Vincci hotels do not understand the need for a properly run restaurant. We have encountered this shortcoming in all 3 Vinnci hotels we have stayed at this year ie. Madrid,Malaga, and finally Sevilla. On every occasion the staff seem uncertain about the hotel dining facilities, this ranged from not knowing the opening hours.or whether reservations were necessary. The impression one gets is that Vinnci management think "we have to have a restaurant to conform, but that this is really not our speciality" The result is particularly evident in their Seville hotel, where on entering the restaurant we were totally ignored by the2 staff (yes 2 ! ) and then told in a most rude and agressive manner that we could not sit at a particular table (it was reservered- yet we were never told reservations were required and the place was only 30% full )

Not knowing any other hotel in Seville, I followed a recommendation for this hotel and was also taken in by their web site. The building was magnificent. Use of two lifts to reach only the third floor was extremely cumbersome. First impression of the hotel was unfortunately given by the staff on reception - they appeared uninterested in their clients, as well as being not very efficient at their jobs. During our four-day stay, there was not one single smile nor friendly word towards our adult group of seven. Glass used in the bar was smeared with lipstick - extremely offputing and absolutely not acceptable for a four-star hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly placed to explore Seville and the room we had was stunning - really one of the best I have ever stayed in! I wouldn't say I didin't like it as it was very tasty but thought breakfast was a bit over-priced...

Everything, even though we were given a reduced rate, we were still given a beautiful room with balcony and view of the Giralda.

Wonderful city and great hotel. Great location. The hotel staff was not friendly. We were traveling from U.S. and spent three weeks seeing Spain. This was the only hotel we felt had a staff that really was not interested if we needed help, etc. Several times we approached the front desk for help with a taxi, suggestions for dinner, etc. Every time we felt we were taking up their time. Because of the staff, we probably would suggest friends pick another hotel.

Very nicely laid out around a patio with soothing water feature. Near to all the important sights and to shopping, but still very quiet. Pity that the roof-top restaurant is open air only (a bit too cold in winter), because it has stunning views. Given that this is quite a luxury hotel with generous supplies of for example toiletery, it seems to be very mean to charge for Internet use at all - but to charge 9 Euro an hour is a rip-off. There are Internet cafes round the corner who charge 1.50 Euro!!!!

Excellent location, quiet, beautiful house and surroundings Compared to what I had expected it seemed a bit 'corporate' - more for rich business people. As the breakfasts were very expensive we didn't have them and therefore found no opportunity to engage with the staff so it seemed a but impersonal

Excellent location near the Plaza de Toros and close to the Cathedral, fine shops and traditional restaurants and bars. Rooms vary and although our pre-notified room preferences ('non-smoking'' and 'double not twin') were unavailable at check-in, the very professional hotel staff moved us the next day to a room of great character. A fine and sympathetic conversion and spotlessly clean throughout.

location was great, walkably-near Cathedral, Jewish Quarter, and all major city sights. The room rate does not represent the actual cost staying at a Vincci hotel. Parking 18 euros a day extra. Wifi 9 euros an hour extra. Upgrade to a room with a real double bed (what *is* it with Europeans and putting cuoples in room with twin beds?? No wonder their birthrate has crashed...) was 25 euros a day extra. Breakfast was 14 euros a day per person for the same breakfast that could be had two blocks away for less than half that. By the end of the stay we were making jokes to each other like "toilet paper, yes, that will be 2 euros a day extra." We felt like we were being nickled and dimed to death for the duration of our stay, and it made the stay unpleasant.

I loved the location, size of rooms and beautiful rooftop view. The hotel was quiet and elegant but very close to all sights. It ticked all the boxes for a hassle free break Staff need to tell people getting a taxi that it will cost extra coming to the hotel. We were left with a surprise when we got to the airport 32 euro instead of max 25 euro

The location and the decor and comfort of the rooms Overpriced breakfast at 18 euros when you can have something similar for less than 5 euros at a small cafe at the end of the street. Roof top restaurant was closed during our stay

The hotel is very well laid out, its Antrim is attractive, open, airy and clean, the rooms are of very good size with all the mod cons one would expect of a hotel of this nature. It is very centrally located but needs better signage due to its central but tucked away location. Would not hesitate to return. The Balcony Rooms facing the street need the blackout curtains to be reinstalled ensuring close fitting to wall. The hotel facade spotlamps on the exterior kept us awake most nights. Blackout curtains need to blackout... Simply that. The bar service is poor for a hotel of this distinction, the side room to the main dining room acted as a bar with simple tables. Breakfast was pricey at €17 per head.

Charming hotel in the historic centre - El Arenal - with friendly and helpful staff. Moved into a lovely room with balcony overlooking the courtyard, (after spending the first night in an inferior room) and extended our stay by an extra day. The hotel put on a reception, superb dinner and midnight bubbly on New Years Eve. Excellent breakfast buffet but somewhat pricy. The access to the Internet is outdated and cumbersome. Wifi costs €7.50 for 45 mts, Even the most modest hotels in Seville provide free wifi. Management take note.

In the heart of Seville and the tapas area, 5 minutes from the Cathedral. Stunning building, nicely preserved palace, richly decorated, comfortable. If you are arriving by car, there is a spot for unloading bags in front of hotel, which is reasonably well signposted once you are in the right area of town. Staff took the car away and parked it in the hotel garage, and car was returned on our departure within minutes of our requesting it. The weather was quite cold, and the room had no direct sunlight which meant we needed to use the Aircon to heat the place up, and had to request extra blankets. I know how hot Seville can get in the summer, and such a cool room would be a godsend. No so much so in the winter. There was no chair in the room.
