Clean. Nice large room

No Kleenex in rooms.

Good quality for the price paid. I was upgraded due to some problems with the reservation system. Efficient staff.

Location was poor for me unless you travel by train since the station is close. Scarce breakfast.

The spa is small but good

They are charging me three times the room rate: once with my bank account, twice for my Diners. They claimed it did not work, but obviously it did. Staff seems incompetent to me.

The rooms and the bathrooms were spacious. The staff helpful. Well ituated to walk into town or the beach.

The rain! Paying for parking seemed a bit unnecessary.

I like the room, it was confortable and very clean. The pool and the spa area was very nice. The staff really nice.

The location was not so good as I though when reading the hotel's web. It is very close to the rail station and it takes about 10min to reach the Poniente beach and 20min walking to the center.

Friendly staff hotel design. We arrived late as we had a breakdown Reception staff awesome . It makes a difference .

It was a modern hotel with excellent service next door to the train station. Just 10 minutes walk to the city center. Gijon has one of the best city lighting I ever seen in any other city. The city itself is very clean, the food and service always impeccable and friendly. The city residents are always at hand to direct you to your destination. Excellent room size and view and very quite.

The whole experience was excellent. Would certainly stay again.

The location on the beach was wonderful. There is a very spa-like feel to the hotel created by the subdued decor and ambience. The spa is second to none. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each day of our stay. This hotel was excellent value for money and we will return. I left a piece of jewellery in a previous hotel I stayed in and the staff made many phone calls on my behalf to the hotel and they could not have been more understanding, courteous and helpful. Full marks to the Silken Ciudad Gijon

Very comfortable hotel, spacious room, totally clean, lovely beds, robe, slippers, tea/coffee-making facilities, chocolates left for us, great bathroom. Really lovely stay.

Nothing! Except it was difficult for us to find, but that was probably our fault - look for a large building with the name of the hotel on top!

The breakfast is nothing special so it's a little pricey

Spacious well-decorated rooms, clean and comfortable, view is not bad. Spacious parking. Good air conditioning.

Not close to the center. The price seems to be a little bit overstated. Poor choice in the restaurant. When we discovered that the lock of our door occured to be out of operation, it was a whole story of its unsuccessful re-encoding and reanimation which finally ended with the movement to another room. From our point of view, this story with the lock does not correspond to the 4* hotel

we went to Gijon to visit family the hotel is well situated at about 15 minutes walking distance to the beach and less to the shopping centre, it was good to be able to leave tha car in the hotel parking. We were happy with the hotel facilities and cleaness

The location was good, not too far to walk to the old town to explore.

The hotel was lovely and clean through out the hotel, staff where always helpful and polite would glady recomend it and will visit the city again

très bon rapport qualité prix . personnel très compétent ,confort de la chambre et petit déjeuner sucre sale copieux . a noter a proximité un très bon resto : la mar de tapas:

El trato del personal muy bueno y la habitación excelente, amplia, limpia, tranquilidad, etc. Para repetir.

El hotel nos ha gustado mucho. El personal es muy amable y atento. La zona de piscina y spa está muy bien. La distancia al centro es un paseito agradable. El desayuno variado y buena calidad.

El agua de la piscina estaba helada. Con respecto al buffet si llegas un poco tarde no reponen nada y tardan mucho en sacar la comida, cuando la sacan. Me parece que el hotel debería prestar un poco de atención en este tema.

La amplitud de las habitaciones y el baño, así como la disposición de una bañera con hidromasaje.
