Silken Gran Hotel Havana  

1. Το ότι ενώ πληρώσαμε € 1.177,50 για 30 διανυκτερεύσεις ( 5 ημέρες Χ 2 άτομα Χ 3 δωμάτια ) και πραγματοποιήσαμε 16 διανυκτερεύσεις πού κόστιζαν € 628,00 ( 4 ημέρες Χ 2 άτομα Χ 2 δωμάτια ) όχι μόνο δεν μας επέστρεψαν κανένα ποσό ( στηριζόμενοι στo γεγονός ότι η κράτηση προέβλεπε μη επιστρέψιμη χρέωση ) ενώ είχαν όφελος € 549,50 , αλλά επιπλέον μας χρέωσαν σε κανονική τιμή το parking του ξενοδοχείου € 96,00 . 2. Στο ένα εκ των δωματίων που μας παρείχαν δεν λειτουργούσε η θέρμανση και παρά τις παρατηρήσεις μας δεν διόρθωσαν το πρόβλημα ούτε μας άλλαξαν δωμάτιο . 3. Δεν μας προσέφεραν το χωρίς χρέωση μπουκάλι κρασί που προέβλεπε η κράτηση μας

ενω τα δωματια ειναι πολυ προσεγμενα minimal και ανακαινισμενα, τοlobby του ξενοδοχειου απογοητευει.

Hotel front desk personnel were terrific and very helpful. I was given a room on the 6th floor and away from the street noise and was able to sleep. Although an old building, it was renovated and it has a contemporary look. Unlike other posters, we had an excellent time at this hotel!

The long wait from time of arrival until room was assigned. I did arrive at 0830 am and the rooms were not to be ready until 1500 pm but did get mine at 1340 but still it was a long time.

Our room was quite nice and clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. Comfort was a great aspect I liked from this hotel. And the receptionist Josep was helpful and polite.

The Internet has restrictions that thy don't tell you about. You think your rooms comes with free wifi but they charge if you want I access your email. Strange.

This was a very clean and slick looking hotel. Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff.

We specifically booked the hotel with the rooftop pool in mind, even checking that the pool was open two weeks prior to arriving. On arrival we were disappointed to find the pool shut for maintenance! During our stay there was no visible maintenance being carried out on the pool, so I suspect it had been shut due to lack of interest. We had two very unhappy children!

The location was great and within easy walking distance of most of the city's sightseeing must sees. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. I must also comment on the curtains, they were really 'black out' curtains and were excellent for cutting out the daylight and enabling us to have a lie in.

It was a little concerning that the hairdryer electricity point was 'loosely' attached to the bathroom mirror - not very 'health & safety'. However, saying this we would stay here again so it hasn't put us off using the hotel again.

A bit noisy in the mornings, very poor wi-fi.

My experience with this hotel was very good. The staff were very friendly and so helpful.

My only critic of the hotel was the fact that I had to pay €24 per day for parking, which amounted to €96 for the duration of my stay. When I am in Barcelona again if I have a car hired I will not stay in the hotel, if I'm not hiring a car I will stay in the hotel.

Room service is not 24h...

Really like the hotel & the facilities. It's very close to the Plaza de Catalunia with everything with in a walking distance.

Didn't have the adapter to convert a British switch to a European one.

The size of the bed, the bathroom was nice...the location was the best thing though...

Barman was a bit ignorant... There was a jazz/blues musician playing when we cam back late to the hotel and we were told we'd have to pay 24 euro to go inside and listen...even though he only played for another 20 minutes... Very bad form...
