Everything was fine. No complaints at all really, Staff were very friendly, food was good. Location is a little off pitch, but the Metro station is only 200 yards away and the service excellent for those on a City break. The location is very noisy right next to the motorway, so the external bar area is not exactly peaceful. Exterior of the building showing its age a bit, but hardly an issue really.

Not enough value related to the price. I may not find the dryer in the bathroom, but you didnt have it. And I dont like the open style door in the bathroom because its too cold after shower. Room was smaller then the picture. Location is not good as well.

Very friendly staff, helpful and responsive to all requests. Attracted to hotel for design cred. Some room details a little disappointing but still good value for money on a deal. Good location for access to/from airport. Would stay again. Gym insufficient, which in fairness is average for a hotel gym. Would prefer at least a bench to go with the weights.

Very friendly & helpful reception staff. Very cool rooms with original designs. Very close to a metro station, and we found the Madrid metro to be very efficient. The hotel was immaculately clean; we tended to see cleaners in the corridors every time we were leaving/returning to our hotel room. Good added features in hotel room that made for a very comfortable stay. Additional costs in hotel can be very expensive. Not much change from 10EUR after a few colas in the downstairs bar in the afternoon. An evening drink in the "Sky Bar"; 2 Mojitos amounted to €24. Very steep considering that we'd had two better Mojitos in a nice bar, right in the centre of Madrid, for €10, just earlier. Mini bar pricings were also steep. Not a huge amount of catering alternatives outside in the vicinity of the hotel.

Everyone should stay at least 12 times in this superb hotel! Each floor is different, has his design...incredible. So nice! Beds on floor 11 (African jungle) could be a bit softer..

The friendliness of the hotel staff and the efficient way they dealt with our enquiries, the only drawback was that we did not have the view over Madrid I had anticipated, we stayed in room 718 and had we chosen a room opposite we would have had the excellent view mentioned on your website, it would have been a good thing if this had been pointed out to us when we chose the room.

Gym facilities are very, very poor for a 5 stars hotel. Not even a gym station, bench press bank, or similar If you want to do some sport while in Madrid, definetly this is not the right place. Don't get you wrong with the pictures in the web.

A hotel that is quite different from the rest. Original and creative. I do not think it is a five stars G.L. The rooms do not seem to be at that level. From my point of view, design ant creativity by themselves are not deemed to qualify a hotel as a five stars.

Great design, different, great breakfasts. The Wi-Fi at the hotel is pretty poor. Not only do you need to get passwords from reception for every device, and re-enter the (complex!) passwords frequently as the connectivity expires, but the Wi-Fi also blocks lots of different messaging and social networking sites and is very slow, so pretty useless for anything other than basic websites. This is without a doubt the biggest disappointment about this hotel and something they ought to address.

The design was incredible. We've enjoyed Floor 4 & Floor 1. Rooms were not so comfortable: for example you couldn't use the bathtub to take a bath in the very futuristic room on the 4th floor, only shower. The domotic system to turn on/off the lights and curtains was not so efficient neither!

Certainly an amazing designer hotel. Every floor is different, every floor is special. Rooms are well equipped. The hotel is well located close enough to the city centre, to the airport and to the trade fair. The "spa" and fitness are is really small. The "fusion" restaurant with asian cuisine unfortunately closes on Mondays, which I was not told at check in. The frozen pizzas are not really an alternative at the bar.

Our whole Puerta America experience was spectacular. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were impressed with the design, the decor, the aromas and the selection. As we exited the elevator on to our floor, we were blown away by what surrounded us. Our room was perfect and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We will definitely make the Silken Puerta America our home when we travel to Madrid. I will be recommending it to all my friends. The bathrooms weren't quite private enough and our shower, although large enough, was a bit cold and uncomfortable because it was open to the rest of the room.

Amazing hotel with wonderful rooms, and with really helpful and friendly staff. Stayed with my 10 year old son, who loved the rooms and the pool, the lift on the outside and the fantastic breakfasts. 20/30 mins from airport by Metro, and about 20 mins from the Old Town & Museums etc (also by Metro). Walking distance (45 mins or so, or about 20 mins on Metro) to Bernabéu too.. Best hotel I have ever stayed in, and and will be visiting again if I am ever in Madrid.

Beautifully designed Hotel. Hard to decide which floor is the most spectacular. Great bar in the 13th floor, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff. A metro station is in walking distance. Gets you in the city as well as to the airport.

We loved the design of the hotel, how each floor has different design and structure. We got the chance to choose our floor which was very nice thing to do. The staff are not very friendly and very straight faces all the time.
