Silos Arte y Relax

The owner of the hotel was the most charming host and could not do enough for us. It was the most personal stay at a hotel that I have ever experienced. The building itself (400 years old ,I believe) was so beautiful and oozed history and charm.We stayed in the loft room which took my breath away. The room was enormous and yet so charming and had direct access to the most beautiful rooftop garden. It was immaculatey clean and the breakfasts were suberb. We went to watch bird migration and the position of the hotel is ideal for walking to the fields behind Tarifa where the best views are as well as being located near to all the wonderful restaurants and the beach.

The only slight criticism was that when we booked this hotel it stated that there was free Wi Fi in all rooms. This was not actually the case as we couldn't pick it up in our room and could just about pick it up where we had breakfast, if you sat by the door. However, our host, Mahut (apoligies if I haven't spelt that correctly!) was so accomodating and invited us into his private section of the house so that we could pick it up. He even set up his laptop so that we could watch some of the Ryder Cup! Thank you, Mahut, you could not have made us any more welcome!!

Excellent location, decor and atmosphere with amazing attention to detail. A very kind and friendly host who went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would recommend Silos Arte y Relax.

Ha sido increible pasar dos dias en el loft y disfrutar de su baño con hidromasaje. La tranquilidad de la casa porque son solo dos habitaciones, la casa era practicamente para nosotros; nos servian el desayuno completo, con una variedad y una frescura increibles...y personalmente a nosotros!!! Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable

la situation dans le vieux quartier de Tarifa, dans une rue calme. la beauté du lieu et du patio, avec plantes luxuriantes et décoration cool. le toit-terrasse splendide avec vue sur tout Tarifa et le détroit de gibraltar. les excellents et copieux petits-déjeuners. l'accueil de Mourad et l'atmosphère "comme chez un ami".

Das Hotel ist einfach super. Mit der Dachterrasse hat man auch in der Nacht einen wunderbaren Blick über Tarifa und an die marrokanische Küste. Im Zimmer ist das Zusammenspiel von alter und neuer Mode/Technik wunderschön gelöst.

Es war etwas schwer zu finden, doch wenn man sich durch fragt oder beim Hotel anruft, ist es kein Problem. Denn die Ansprechperson spricht mehrere Sprachen, unter anderen auch Deutsch.

Me ha gustado todo. El precio es algo elevado para disfrutar de una estancia más larga, pero es increible para un capricho¡¡. recomendable 100x100

El silencio, estando ubicada en el centro del pueblo y el desayuno con productos ecológicos, realmente espectacular.

Excellente situation de l'hôtel dans une petite ruelle du centre historique de Tarifa; toutefois très calme; c'est une ancienne maison exceptionnel et bien soigné y compris un atelier artistique; les chambres sont décorées d'une manière artistique et avec beaucoup de goût; la suite (un duplex) où nous avons séjourné est spacieuse et vraiment comfortable; il y a aussi une grand terrasse sur le toît (plutôt un jardin) avec une vue superbe vers le Maroc et des petits coins pour relaxer; les belles photos sur 'booking.com' et celles du site web de l'hôtel correspondent parfaitement à la "réalité"; un vrai plaisir était le petit déjeuner bio que le proprietaire servait d'une manière exceptionnelle dans le merveilleux "patio" (une cour intérieure où on est entouré des plantes et des fleurs); suite à un acceuil chaleureux, le proprietaire était toujours disponible pour donner des conseils ainsi que pour trouver une solution pour n'importe quel problème. C'était vraiment un séjour inoubliable et certainement un endroit à retourner. Un tout grand merci à Maximilian !

Das gesamte Haus ist ein Kunstwerk. In jeder Ecke versteckt sich etwas zauberhaftes. Es wurde mir viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und ist nicht vergleichbar mit anderen Pensionen. Der ethnische Stil ist super authentisch in Tarifa. Der neue Eigentümer ist immer als Ansprechpartner erreichbar und sehr sympathisch. Unser Wunsch, auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken, wurde quasi von unseren Augen abgelesen. Die Terrasse an sich, mit wunderschönen Ausblick über die Dächer Tarifas ist schon ein Buchungsgrund. Es gibt nur zwei Zimmer in der Pension, die Suite und das Loft. Wir haben die Suite gebucht und waren einfach nur begeistert vom Stil. Es waren auch zwei Schlafzimmer vorhanden in der Suite und ein großer Wohnraum. Auch zu viert wär man hier gut aufgehoben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder - hoffentlich schon 2013 und sind gespannt auf die angekündigten Änderungen. Viele liebe Grüße von der Ostsee in das "Silos 19". S&M

La habitacion y la terraza fabulosa.La ubicacion espectacular, en el centro pero en una calle tranquila. EStabamos solos, fuimos lo ultimos clientes y ahora cierran, Estaba todo un poco desangelado, y y no sera mas una galeria de arte, Al estar solos, era como tener una casa propia, donde te hacian el desyuno y arreglaban la habitacion. Te puedes llevar tu propia bebida y comida porque alli no hay nada de nada. Lo empiezan a reformar ahora y espero que tenga mas vida. Suerte!

Es caro. 150 euros/dia`por un apartamento en temporada baja(porque tiene poco de hotel)el desayuno era pan con mermelada, un zumo, y un plato de queso y embutido. (todo contado para 2)y ya esta. No hay parquing, ni wifi en la habitacion. La piscina ( es un decir) de la terraza, no iba.Podria llegar a ser un sitio estupendo, espero que despues de la reforma, mejore.
