Curtains instead of doors in bathroom and shower head not able to be hung. Bed was at a slight slope
I love the apartment, spacious, clean, bright and airy. It has a relaxing atmosphere. My son loves the bed, very comfy and I can really have a good siesta. close to grocery shops, I get fresh croissant down the road every morning. restaurants everywhere, great shopping area- shoe shops? amazing! A stroll away from Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor etc. The night is alive at these areas. People just having a great time! Noe - very helpful and great customer service. Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay.
The clock I kept looking at it every time, just needs new batteries (I think). The aircon in the bedroom can be slightly noisy on a certain setting. The bathroom needs a new rug.
Enjoyed our stay very much. The location was great and at the same time the apartment was very quiet. No complains whatsoever--clean, comfortable, and we had everything we needed.
Location is great - close to everything downtown and an easy walk to the main railway station.
If you have young children (and you're not on a Spanish timetable) see if you can avoid overlooking the street as it can be lively in the early hours.
The location was excellent and the staff helpful.
The bed was infested of BED BUGS and the apartments were not in the best of conditions either, they need to check and clean them much more often.
It's right in the city center, 5 minutes away from the metro and with super easy access to all the important stuff in Madrid. Wifi connection was stable and relatively fast. Staff had very good English, which is a big bonus in Spain.
The place is much smaller than it appears on the pictures. It's also not maintained very well - all the furniture is worn down and there was an incredibly dirty rug, which made everything seem dirty.
Practical location. Very quiet and comfortable.
Cold reception - scribbled unclear directions on a scrap paper. Bags of garbage standing in front of our door for entire duration of our stay. Broken shower mounting. Dirty fridge and iced up. Ridiculous cutlery. Dirty utensils. Very dirty carpet. Pity - could be really nice.
Almost everything, nice, clean, and absolutely great location!
At our last day there was noone on the reception (in working hours!), and noone picked up the phone!!! We and also the other group of people wanted to store the luggage at the office. We waited for half an hour and noone came! So, of course, our planes for the day were ruined, and the opinion about the hotel was a bit changed...
Location is perfect for exploring Madrid on foot. Great beds.
We left our luggage at the office, but a friends bag was stolen. A staff-member (Noa I think) went out of his way to help us with contact to the police and embassy, but don't leave anything important behind...
The apartment met all the basic, necessary criteria and had a modern style. The kitchen was fully-equipped and the bed was comfortable.
Rude staff The worst part of our stay were the rude staff. I booked via booking.com but made specific requirements by phone which were never recorded and consequently didn't happen. I was then accused of lying, saying I'd never made any such phone call, and in total was hung up on three times when I asked for an alternative solution. UNCLEAN & POORLY MAINTAINED The apartment was not cleaned or maintained to the standard I'd have expected for the price we paid. There were broken cupboard handles, mouldy bathroom walls, flickering lights and dirty dishes, to name only a few problems. UNSAFE AREA The location of the apartment we were given was not in the safest of areas by far. The square next to the apartment is a 24 hour hub for homeless locals and they gave us a lot of unwanted attention, for one example intimidating us and then physically hassling us for a cigarette. Madrid is a big city, so crime and shady characters are expected, but you should be wary of the area where all of sixrooms apartments are located. FURTHER ISSUES On top of the above issues, the wifi kept being switched off, the apartment was dark and humid, not enough bedding was provided for the number of people staying in the apartment, and finally, the windows didn't close properly (never mind lock) so if anyone were to have entered the apartment and stole anything, all insurance policies would have been invalid, and of course, it would be the guests that suffered. I would not recommend anyone to stay in any of sixrooms apartments: Rude, unclean, unsafe and overpriced.
So close to the centre of madrid.
Wifi conncetion was not that great.
Clean, modern, enough space - not too small.
Wifi did not work on any of my devices, but worked on my friends device who arrived earlier than me. Only stayed for one night so did not check this up. Shower was not in bathroom - it was in the bedroom! It was OK since I travelled with a really good friend but may be awkward for some. It was FREEZING in there. Couldn't get the air-condition to work, but there was a mobile heater we put on that warmed up the room a little bit.
For three or four persons ok, but for five limited. The kitchen was well equiped, but lacked a corkscrew and glasses. When asked we got them immediately. Good location near metro Tirsa de Molinas and restaurants.
The carpets, wifi although we asked several times. The office wasn't allways open during openinghours.
wi fi, and was full of dust
The apt is quite ok nothing to complain about the service, location. The only thing if you stay there it depends a lot of your neighbours. It is a flat with 4 apts. and if they are noisy you have a problem. There is a cleft between door and the door frame and during the nights your apt. will be illuminated if you do not switch off the light in the floor. Like I said it depends a lot of your neighbours (who were noisy and switched on the floor lights every time we switched it off).
The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect
The cooking utensils was not that clean and the position of the shower was a bit odd to put it in the corner of the bedroom
The appartment was modern, well positioned and well fournished. The atmosphere was nice and everything was clean.
Great location ,modern styling Quite for a city location and the apartment matched the internet photos.
The washing machine was located out of the apartment. The would have been good to have been told on check in. The apartment location was a few streets from the six rooms office bit which was hike with lots of luggage ,but not a really big problem.
The apartment itself was amazing and in a great location. Great for a friends holiday!
The staff spoke very bad English (strange for a touristic hotel?) and the actual six rooms office does not always have staff at it, so we were waiting for 50 mins before we could get our keys to the apartment...
Excellent location, at city center. Walking distance from metro station and places of interest. Apartment was small but met our purpose of just rest a few hours a day. Air conditioning worked well and we could rest well.
Floor was not clean and shower had mold in the walls. Single beds on second room were not comfortable, mattress may had some springs out.
1. Next to metro station (Molina), and is close to Mayor Plaza and Sol Plaza. Convenient location. 2. Carlos speak good English, and tries to help when he is on duty (11-6). Other times you have to try your luck. 3. Airport transfer to take us to the airport is very convenient and reliable. 4. Fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom needs.
1. We arrived at about 9 pm. The office was closed. We called the number posted on the door, and the staff did not speak English. (The staff on duty during office hours 11-6, did speak English and was helpful.) 2. Internet did not work most of the time. 3. Apartment is not located at the same location as the office, and is further into the Latin quarter. The staff told us it is a good area without security concerns. But the area is generally not as clean as those north of Atocha Street. 4.Drainage problems in shower and one of bathroom sinks. 5. Instructions for washing machine is in Spanish. 6. Elevator did not work, so you have to carry everything into the apartment, whichever floor that is. 7. The apartment is not suitable for tourists who do not speak Spanish, but rather for those who are familiar with the area, and know their way around.
Small rooms Washing machine did not work.
Great location, clean and fully furnished/equipped.
The fact that we have rented two apartments which were located in different places (a 3 min walk). Six Rooms should inform potential clients of this possibility in advance (i.e. by mentioning it on Booking's page). However, we have nothing else to add!
We could have been in a better place, but still as I said is near to places of tourist interest.
First of all the area where the apartment is located, the poorest area in Madrid, not a clean one, even though is accessible to some main places to visit. Wi-fi service is poor and almost non-existent, uncomfortable mattress and pillows awful, very small bathroom with a shower floor with poor drainage. The rug in the living room area Should be part of the cleaning process. I went to see the other apartments the company has in Atocha St, WORST, do not go there. There are better places to stay in Madrid.
