Staff was very helpful, understanding, lovely, and friendly, the was the best hotels staff I ever met ib my many years of travel. Location is perfect too.
Little noise from the street
location is just incredible. price quite reasonable. staff very helpfull. good bathroom, but should have antislip in tub where one gets out of the shower
there was no table or desk in room, had to ask, got me a small one. breakfast excellent but a bit pricey. light system fancy but not very efficient
Wonderful staff, great location, lovely breakfast and stylish ambience
Room good size but strangely lacking in surfaces to put anything on.
The staff were out and outstanding in every way. The location is exceptional. This is where I'll stay on my next trip to Barcelona.
The expensive quality of the fabrics and decor. The welcome from staff. Loved everything really.
Design. Very clean !!. Would definitely come back
You have to pay for the coffees in the rooms !!!
Fantastic location Taxi rank outside. 6 euros to the beach. Next to all designer shops. Lots of lovely bars on the doorstep
It did not have a Bose tv. There was a fancy coffee machine but no coffee and I couldn't get it to work for tea. All the lights were on one panel. Difficult to use for the toilet in the night
Location and facilities
Charging extra money on the coffee within the room while you have free in loby all day long
Location. Quite noiseless being in one of the most trafficated downtown's streets
Wi-Fi. Continuous lack of connection in the room. Room furniture. Drawers would help a lot.
I was in room 409. Big room with great atmosphere. Superb value.
More breakfast choice would be nice. More staff too
Location - excellent Staff - so helpful informative and friendly. Bed and pillows- really really comfy. Bathroom - loved big shower space and modern bathroom design.
Nothing. Liked everything.
Central location with good access to trains and buses. Plenty to see and do, particularly a wide range of shops. We were really impressed with the whole atmosphere in the hotel and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good value for money and could sit for hours working your way throught the many choices! We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to family and friends.
Only one small criticism. Located at the front of the hotel meant we needed to sleep with the balcony doors closed. This was really effective in keeping the noise out but meant there was no ventilation in the room and it was very warm during the night. Even for the end of November!
Fab room brilliant showers. Great location
Wi- fi kept switching off. No Tea coffee facilities in room
Breakfast lounge, personell
Room. Things were broken (lamp hanging from it's cord) and the layout was really unpractical. No place to have the suitcase. Really unpractical breakfast routine (had to order the goodies and that toook some time).
Excellent location on central L'Eixample street, almost opposite the Casa Battlo and surrounded by great shopping with a sprinkling of excellent bars, restaurants and cafes. Boutique hotel, with very comfortable room and stylish furnishings. Worth paying extra for a room with a balcony. Cocktail bar a welcome extra touch.
Staff were friendly but not quite up the standard of the rest of the hotel - both too relaxed and inflexible for an establishment that felt 5 star. Little touches such as: shower gel not being replaced on second night, cocktail staff not giving the promised free cava because were a minute or so late, reception staff not giving pack with map in (a nice touch) until end of first day, are all minor but added up.
location is great staff are nice very good breakfast great small bar/lobby
rooms are not noise proof = hearing ...other rooms' activity stained sheets were not changed - only turned over
Location - right on the Pg de Gracia and less than 100 yards from the underground Rooms - we stayed in the exec rooms on the 4th floor. Beds - big and comfy
We loved the people there, the staff was incredibly nice and generous and the room was very modern and clean
The location and the understated cool.
The room on this occasion was a little disappointing. A bit scruffy and quite noisy.
The staff were all very professional and super helpful. The beds were really comfortable and the room very quiet so we could sleep very well :-)
Location Views Helpful Staff Asked for iron and board - provided quickly on day one. Reported a problem with our shower on day two. This was fixed the same day. Some staff - particularly the tall girl at breakfast was excellent and efficient. We remember her from last year. Glass of cava and chips - excellent idea but need to stay on 1st floor to drink and eat them. Can't take them to your room to enjoy. Free coffee on 1st floor, this is excellent quality and the flavoured water is most welcome after a busy day. A complimentary book as we checked out. Nice touch.
One small bottle of water for coffee in room, insufficient. When asked we were advised this is what you get. Why were we charged for coffees if they don't supply enough water to make them. I understand paying for it but surely you get water to go with the coffee! Day two our room was not cleaned. Day three our room was cleaned but no toiletries were left. Had to request them. Asked about water in room for coffee and advised you only get one small bottle per visit. Advised we had bought water so didn't mind paying for it but this was not clear. A small bottle of water was delivered to our room but we were then charged for this at the end of our stay as well as coffees we had in our room. This was not made clear. Makes no sense to charge for something in our room that you can obtain on the 1st floor. On two days had to ask for a plate for breakfast and had to find own cutlery. Had to ask for fresh fruit. Waited to be served fresh orange and coffee. Had to ask for cooked breakfast after 25 minutes of waiting and others were served before us. The toaster nearly went on fire on two occasions and I witnessed others complain about this but this was not changed. The free coffee machine offered on the first floor was not working and that is why we had to have coffee in our room but we were charged for this at the end of our stay. We had too many problems during our stay - and we are easy customers and not hard to please. We returned to this hotel as we had such a great experience last year. They have made some improvements and I think listened to feedback, however for us they just didn't come up to the standard expected for what we paid. We were not asked if our trip and our visit was okay. If we had been asked then we would have given feedback at the time and perhaps would only had had positive feedback to give. It is a pity because I think this hotel has all the potential & some fantastic people working there but is understaffed & lacks organisation.
Amazing roof terrace, big bed and a modern bathroom. Funky feel in a brilliant location. Would recommend to anyone.
If I had to be really picky. The automated blinds didn't work properly and the cocktail lounge was closed one evening due to staff shortages.
Location location location ! Our room had the most amazing terrace !
Mattress needs be changed in the room we stayed in (504)
Location Size of room Friendly and helpful staff Welcome package
Beds were not comfortable - woke up with back ache every day.
