Location - right on the Pg de Gracia and less than 100 yards from the underground Rooms - we stayed in the exec rooms on the 4th floor. Beds - big and comfy
We loved the people there, the staff was incredibly nice and generous and the room was very modern and clean
The location and the understated cool.
The room on this occasion was a little disappointing. A bit scruffy and quite noisy.
The staff were all very professional and super helpful. The beds were really comfortable and the room very quiet so we could sleep very well :-)
Location Views Helpful Staff Asked for iron and board - provided quickly on day one. Reported a problem with our shower on day two. This was fixed the same day. Some staff - particularly the tall girl at breakfast was excellent and efficient. We remember her from last year. Glass of cava and chips - excellent idea but need to stay on 1st floor to drink and eat them. Can't take them to your room to enjoy. Free coffee on 1st floor, this is excellent quality and the flavoured water is most welcome after a busy day. A complimentary book as we checked out. Nice touch.
One small bottle of water for coffee in room, insufficient. When asked we were advised this is what you get. Why were we charged for coffees if they don't supply enough water to make them. I understand paying for it but surely you get water to go with the coffee! Day two our room was not cleaned. Day three our room was cleaned but no toiletries were left. Had to request them. Asked about water in room for coffee and advised you only get one small bottle per visit. Advised we had bought water so didn't mind paying for it but this was not clear. A small bottle of water was delivered to our room but we were then charged for this at the end of our stay as well as coffees we had in our room. This was not made clear. Makes no sense to charge for something in our room that you can obtain on the 1st floor. On two days had to ask for a plate for breakfast and had to find own cutlery. Had to ask for fresh fruit. Waited to be served fresh orange and coffee. Had to ask for cooked breakfast after 25 minutes of waiting and others were served before us. The toaster nearly went on fire on two occasions and I witnessed others complain about this but this was not changed. The free coffee machine offered on the first floor was not working and that is why we had to have coffee in our room but we were charged for this at the end of our stay. We had too many problems during our stay - and we are easy customers and not hard to please. We returned to this hotel as we had such a great experience last year. They have made some improvements and I think listened to feedback, however for us they just didn't come up to the standard expected for what we paid. We were not asked if our trip and our visit was okay. If we had been asked then we would have given feedback at the time and perhaps would only had had positive feedback to give. It is a pity because I think this hotel has all the potential & some fantastic people working there but is understaffed & lacks organisation.
Amazing roof terrace, big bed and a modern bathroom. Funky feel in a brilliant location. Would recommend to anyone.
If I had to be really picky. The automated blinds didn't work properly and the cocktail lounge was closed one evening due to staff shortages.
Location location location ! Our room had the most amazing terrace !
Mattress needs be changed in the room we stayed in (504)
Location Size of room Friendly and helpful staff Welcome package
Beds were not comfortable - woke up with back ache every day.
Location, Location and location
The location was close to everything including the metro. I loved the glass of cava and snack every afternoon. The rooms were quiet, very spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Perfect for jet lag recovery.
The location is superb close to cafés, restaurants, bars, shopping and transport. Our room was very clean, spacious and balcony with view onto the Main Street. All the staff are very friendly and accomadating, value for money. Coffee machine a bonus.
Stayed at the Sixtytwo Hotel for one night prior to cruise.. Found the front desk staff extremely helpful and friendly. Had a terrific room with an outdoor terrace. While it only overlooked other buildings, the extra space was appreciated. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was plentiful and full of variety. The proximity to Las Ramblas and La Pedrera allowed us to do two tours in a very short period of time
The hidden minibar an fair conditioning control (in cupboard).. We only found out about it at checkout .. That was our problem not the hotels..
Staff were professional and helpful. Room was spacious and clean with great views. Upon request we we're recommended a Spanish restaurant (La Cura)15 mins walk away, expensive but food and service were amazing.
We booked 2 executive rooms but one of the rooms offered was a standard and we had to ask at reception for a room with a balcony for our parents, luckily enough there was a last one, pity they didn't get the room right away. Also a few days before as it was my father in laws 65th the day we arrived and their 44th wedding anniversary that week, we emailed and asked if they could do something a little special, but no acknowledgement was offered. We all would stay again but we do recommend to ensure that you get a balcony as the inward facing rooms are lovely but not as nice.
A small recently renovated hotel with young look and soul at the best location. Service minded staff making sure you had a convenient and enjoyable weekend in Barcelona.
A bit pricey.
Balconies are great in the Barca sun! Rooms very comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Nespresso capsules in bedroom not complimentary
Excellent location on Passeig de Gracia, nice breakfast buffet, complimentary servings, iPod dock
Poor WiFi, thin walls passing noise
-location was good, modern decor, recommend room with balcony facing Passeig de Gracia
-wifi connection weak -longer happy hour for free Cava
The location is perfect. It is right in the midst of the town where most of the fine restaurants and high end stores are nearby. Walking distance to most attractions. Hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that they offered was excellent. We will definitely return to stay there.
There is nothing to dislike.
Excellent Location; Our room was magnificent (we were upgraded to a suite!); great bathroom, amenities, comforts. Staff polite and helpful. Nice design too.
Breakfast. We expected more variety, we thought it would be a bit more creative and healthy. Fruit was tasteless, bread was poor (baguette? for breakfast? really?) cheese and ham minimal.
How the front desk gets crowded because the the hotel is understaffed
elevator out of service 1 day
Room was big with fantastic view of Passeig de Gracia. Large private bathroom.
Extra chair in room would be helpful plus a kettle.
We loved this hotel. We loved the spacious room and the outdoor terrace. The location is wonderful and so convenient to everything. We would absolutely recommend this hotel. We will stay here again.
Great location at the heart of all the high end brands! Modern hip boutique hotel at reasonable rates!
