It was right at the end of the Camino de Santiago (Norte) going out of town
We stopped here for a single overnight stay en route from Santander to Santiago. Staff v friendly and helpful (incl opening the "cafe" early to give us breakfast before an early departure). Room (family room) basic but spacious, clean, nicely presented and more than adequate for our needs. Shortish walk along main road into Comillas for a bustling fun night out. Didn't have time to visit the local beaches sadly ... But would recommend.
the balcony is like an extension to the room, basic but nice breakfast
Great value for money. Very friendly staff. Basic but very clean and had all you needed. Very quiet despite being on main road. Easy stroll into Comillas centre. Can recommend especially if on a budget.
Could have been a little more choice for breakfast
Helpful & friendly staff Good sized rooms
Bed had sand in it, so doubts if had been changed from previous occupier. Would not recommend for elderly or a disability as the entrance to the hotel is quite steep.
This is an expensive town, so it is NOT good value for money. It is twice the price you'd pay elsewhere for the same quality hotel.
Clean and modern rooms, very friendly and helpful owner. Decent price for the area and only 5 min walk into the centre of Comillas. Would definitely recommend to others!
Quite close to the road, which sees a lot of traffic in summer, so be prepared for some road noise. However, closing the window blocked this effectively.
