The location - close to La Rambla

- you can not see this in the pictures but the rooms are old and smelly - the bathrooms have cracked walls with mold and all smells like an old woman's house - the beds are uncomfortable - if you stay at lower levels you feel every time the metro passes - the staff is not accommodating mostly smiling but not solving your problem - the internet had a poor speed in the area of the hotel where we stayed (1st floor) this hotel does not deserve it's stars!

Close to port of Barcelona. Easy walk to southern end of Las Ramblas. Very nice breakfast. Kept suitcases for us before check in If you are taking a cruise and are just staying 1 night then this is a good hotel for that.

Not much to do if you are staying more than 1 night. Side streets are seedy at night.

The best thing this Hotel had was the location since its very close to the centre, and I must say it was also decently clean.

The Reception Staff not very friendly and do not go out of their way to help. Rooms are quite old and shabby in need of a facelift.

The reception staff were very helpful and the hotel was ideally suited for Las Ramblas and right next to the Metro.

It was quite noisy outside the hotel well into the early hours.

Location of hotel is excellent and the price for a 4 star hotel was very good.

Good location

Good location for where we wanted to be and close to Metro and bus stops giving good access to the other main sites in Barcelona. The layout of the family suite. Breakfast was good range, good quality at a good price.

Hotel has had its best time and starts to look used. Definitely not a fancy designer hotel.

Shower was terrible, rooms facing the road were very noisy with people hanging about all night at the metro all night long, had to get moved to an opposite side room.

The location is great! Everything you need all nearby, breakfast at Bar Stage round the corner was brilliant and cheap beers all over. The party scene is a 6 euro taxi away with the largest clubs in Barca! We went for a stag and had a great time! Would definitely recommend Barcelona for a Party Holiday or even just a ncie relaxing city break.

The women dont like asian guys and we were a group of 12 so resorted to Strip Clubs & Brothels!!!

When I made the reservation, I asked for 2 standard rooms for 2 nights, on the highest floor, with nice view and away from the elevators. My colleague ended up right in front of the elevator, yet the hotel was not full. When I arrived, they gave me a room on the 5th floor near my colleague. Walked in, opened the closet and found a used bathroom towel hanging in there. Disgusting. I went to the bathroom, the floors were not washed, as you could see the shoe marks, from a walk in the muddy rain. The mattress was very uncomfortable, one could not rest, let alone sleep. I went downstairs, asked the receptionist to change my room. He said, you booked a standard room, that's how the bed is. I said to him "nowhere it says what kind of a mattress you are gonna have whatever category you book the room", this doesn't make sense. He said the superior rooms have better mattresses, it will cost you 24€ more per night. NowayI said that I was going to pay that, your hotel should not be rated 4 stars. I negotiated with him, and he gave me a superior room which in fact it's the same kind of room except it has a different mattress with a king size bed, a bathrobe and a pair of slippers, which you definitely need to wear, since the floors are never cleaned. I say never, cause, the first night, my little perfume bottle fell down and broke in the bathroom, I collected the big pieces, but the small ones were there for another day, until I left the hotel. The room number was 560, in case someone gives it to you, keep that in mind, you might be walking on glass. Never go back that's for sure.

1) Uncomfortable Beds in standard rooms. 2) Basic shower / bath in standard room with noisy extracting fan! 3) Poor sound proof between rooms, floors & street facing ones. 4) Air condition in rooms not able to turn on. 5) Difficult to find English TV channels. 6) Music in room is not working! 7) No Floor plan or facility info in room. 8) Gym is not inside the hotel!

Hotel is situated very close to Gothic area and street Ramla - main trade street. It's very polite and english-speaking personel and very clean. Free wi-fi.

I don't know, really. It could be great to do breakfast included or just cofee and tea.

Disappointed that a supposed 4 star hotel had no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Lack of swimming pool is a surprise!

Fantastic location & great value. Top class breakfast & the staff (especially Marc in the bar) were the very best.

Everything was wonderful

The location was very convenient. I used the 2 day metro pas and the stop was right outside the door of the hotel making it easy to access.
