Free internet only for 24h. It's announced on booking.com as free Wi-Fi but we came to discover that it was only for 24h. Very ugly strategy, by the reception manager, insisting with us to upgrade to a better room and pay more money.

Everything! The hotel is a business hotel, but they treated us like royalty. The staff could not have been better.

The location is outside the old city. Getting to the parts of Madrid that we wanted to see was a trip on the underground and there was not a lot of shopping close by.

No tooth brush and tooth paste in the hotel room, bottle of water cost 11euro and pack of m&s 6 euro, no trendy bar in the hotel

I really likee the hotel and facilities in the Hotel. It was very clean and hotel staff were very helpful and nice and gave me a good upgrade too!

The hotel is in a clean and quiet area of town. Although a bit far from the popular and commercial area of Madrid, it was no problem to use the metro.

It would be nice if the hotel could provide a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms. Also, surprisingly, there were no bath robes!!

Beautiful hotel, clean, huge beds in standard room, excellent buffet with alot of variety.

Not in the best location, a 20 minute metro ride into the town centre there isn't alot around the hotel seems like more of a business area.

In general almost everything was very good.Price/quality also.

The guys on the reception were a little bit "clumsy". Most of them weren't able to use freely and properly their own computer system and were making istakes with my payments. Also something negative is that they wanted me to pay all in advance, not to authorise my CC and to pay on checkout as usual, and they were blaming booking.com for this...since it wasn't mentioned anywhere when I was making the reservation from the site.

The conference we were attending was at Melia Castilla. The conference arrangements were excellent, and it was a privilege to stay in the hotel. Most of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was expensive, but excellent.

I appreciated everything, in particular the friendly and prompt attention to dealing with any problem or request. For example my room fridge could not be opened. When I rang to report the problem, I was immediately sent a bottle of water and glasses, and the engineer came soon afterward to repair the fridge door.

I did not at all like the soap provided in my bathroom. It was not smooth and had particles in it which made it unpleasant to use Please could you tell me something about the history of the bars of soap you provide? Are they recycled from previous use and not well homogenized? I am anxious to have your reply Best wishes Ten Feizi

Ease of getting there from airport, friendliness of staff, comfort of rooms, excellence of facilities, nice outdoor pool, little touches like basket of apples in gym. Wonderful breakfast. One of best hotels I've stayed in.

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel, it's location and friendly staff, especially Pedro at the concierge. Rooms were big, bathrooms renovated and clean. Hotel seems like an old one, but still maintains good atmosphere and excellent reputation.

One of the towels was dirty although cleaned. Pool area is small with limited sunbathing area although pool is big. Too many signs at the hotel making it easy to get lost... :)

The hotel has a luxury feel, rooms are well furnished and beds comfortable with well designed bathrooms. Staff were always pleasant and attentive.

The air conditioning was a little ineffective and the double double glazed windows failed to keep out the noise from the adjacent pub, even though I was on 12th floor.

The Staff was always very helpfull and the kids Had a fab time. Worked realy good with the connected Rooms. Good that the one Restaurent was open all day. Ashame that the pool was empty! Is in a area with good restaurenten. Allround great for our family with too kids(5+6) C

I like very much to get an upgrade and the room was fantastic!!! I was received at the hotel by one of the hotel's management team, he was very kind.

Easy check-in with efficient staff, this was our second time at the hotel and we enjoyed it very much. Lovely, clean public areas for sitting and relaxing, plenty of lifts and comfortable en-suite room. Good location with bus stop, metro stop and restaurants nearby. Plenty of choice for breakfast and a good casual dining restaurant for lunch. Will return here when we next visit our daughter.

Fantastic room (we had 2 communicating rooms for us and the kids). Spacious and confortable. The kids were ecstatic. Great breakfast, fast service and plenty of choice of food. Very helpfull staff.

La amabilidad del personal ha sido muy buena, la habitación espaciosa y de calidad y sobre todo ni un ruido, muy bien insonorizadas.

Quizá sea necesaria una remodelación o modernización de las habitaciones, son muy buenas pero se nota que son antiguas.

Excelente habitación, baño bien equipado, muy bueno el desayuno, muy cerca del aeropuerto. Buena opción para conocer el Bernabéu. Cerca del metro

Un poco viejo, podrían remodelar y modernizar el hotel. Un poco lejos de la zona turística de Madrid para ir caminando. La zona no es bonita de noche, muchos lugares de stripteas
