Stayed for one night at the end of our trip as a treat for my girlfriend's birthday. As I'd informed the hotel of the fact when we got to our room we found a small bottle of cava and a platter of strawberries and chocolate cakes waiting for us with a note. A very nice touch. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and we were very pleased with other aspects that were included in the stay including the roof top jacuzzi and the free bar. We weren't expecting to be able to help ourselves to as much Moet champagne and Hendricks Gin as we wanted, but that's how it turned out! Mind you, for the price I suppose that's the kind of things that you pay for.
My only major gripe was that the wi-fi didn't work well in our room at all. It seemed strongest in the lobby, but on the third floor it was intermittent at best.
Location, staff and general hotel facilities, excellent buffet breakfast.
Nowhere to hang towels, room did not have a table/mirror for make-up. Bottled water (in room) at 5 Euros, a bit over the top.
On entry I was delightfully surprised by the iconic red velvet furniture resembling flowers. It is a stunning common area. The care taken by each member of the service staff to welcome new guests, to determine their needs and to provide advice, was exceptional. The rooms were attractive, offered a range of lighting options, and the bathroom was attractive and well appointed with a window to the bedroom. The bidet was appreciated. Decor throughout is excellent. Service was prompt and courteous at all times. The hotel is very well located in the middle of the city.
I would like all hotels in Europe to train baristas to make good coffee and capuccinos on full coffee machines. Gran Colon needs to do that too. Australia seems to provide better quality coffee than anywhere in the world - a surprise to me. Heated towel racks and an ironing board would be nice, as well as a larger TV screen.
An amazing hotel a must stay at type of hotel. Was lovely
Everything was perfect
Renovations to hotel and central location. Facilities were good. Rooftop hot tub is special. Breakfast is good and varied. Staff were excellent. Rooms extremely comfortable.
Parking is over priced and expensive. Should be included in price. I have a strong dislike of "nickel and dime" extras. Include in room cost.
Room was clean and super professional staff. Location
Spa was dis not offer same hotel standard.
rooms were good. The location is quite convenient. they have a great bar too!
Breakfast has limited options and service can be quite bad.
Staff, location, restaurant, room,
bed hard, no pay TV, limited english TV or english speaking TV, terrible internet connection couldn't face time to see our baby
All of it! The check-in on arrival was the best I've experienced. The standard of the room was excellent. The location was perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This hotel really does tick all the boxes for a sensational stay in Seville!
Location, very friendly and helpful staff.
wonderful hotel. Excellent facilities ie. Rooftop jacuzzi to ourselves. Really loved pampering myself with the Clarins products in the bathroom. The breakfast was first class.
should have requested an internal view room as the light in our room was quite dull
First class service and welcome Employees are great
Shower with no privacy Lobby furniture Difficult location to be found Interior decoration
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good.
The short bath with shower over and a fixed glass panel made it awkward for us, over seventies, to climb in and out. It would have been better to make it a large walk in shower. Not the management fault, poor design by the architect.
We did a 4 night stay at the hotel. This hotel was more than we expected. The room was extremely comfortable and contained everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and nothing was a problem for them. For a five star hotel there was no stuffiness associated with many such establishments. The facilities were outstanding and the attention to detail very impressive. The breakfasts were excellent and so too the food in the restaurant.
It is a struggle to find anything to complain about as if there was any problem the hotel dealt with it straight away. Our only criticism was that we could have done with a list of recommended restaurants from the hotel for customers to sample.
Pay extra for the Red level- great facilities & well worth the money.
Wifi is poor in the rooms, that's about it!!
Top quality staff Amazing rooms and decor Location right in the heart of the Old Town
Location was great. Lobby and room were modern and cheerful. Comfortable. A great place to go back to at the end of a day of sightseeing.
The aromatherapy - horrible fragrance in hallways!
Staff, food, private check-in
The staff were ALL very friendly, courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Reception was well furnished and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, modern and VERY clean, with a painting as the door. Breakfast and wifi were included. Restaurant food was good if a little expensive but as we had had cheap tapas at Duo de Mayo(highly recommended) we didn't mind the extravagance
Location Staff, concierge excellent!
Loud maid in early morning. On going issues with tv required multiple maintenance calls.
Most everything... The staff, apart from the patio staff, we're very customer focused and friendly. Great view from our room
Service on the patio from Miguel was terrible. The bar in the lobby was outrageously expensive. There wasn't anywhere to hang towels in the bathroom so they have to get changed everyday.
A luxurious haven in the centre of a hectic but stunning city. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are lovely, comfortable. Bar area lovely too. Extremely clean. Great location. You can walk everywhere.
Nothing to dislike really. The terrace was a little disappointing. Would have been nice to have more beds in the sunshine and a little pool instead of a jazuzzi.
only the wi fi was not working well
