Good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts.

A little bit noisy in rooms - You can heard what happens in corridor in the morning. Awful restaurant. We have one dinner their. It was unpleasant.

Everything was great from check-in to departure! The bedroom was beautiful - very comfortable king size bed with high quality bed linen. The spotlessly clean marble bathroom with an excellent shower. The food in the tapas restaurant was delicious. The bar and lounge were very stylish and comfortable and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The price of the hotel breakfast was too expensive.

Great location

The parking charge 34 Euro per night, which is a rip-off and no valet parking after midnight, in one ocassion our car took 25 mins to bw delivered... If you are planning to rent a car in Sevilla better consider another hotel.

The internet was slow

The spa, breakfast and the location.

Although I had a firm price that included the room charge and the taxes. When I came to pay I was charged extra 20% (about) for the room. ( taxes) After some haggling over the statement it was reduced to what ever I was promised. The hotel is nice Just look at your statement at the end of the stay.

we liked the location of the hotel

The room was small, it was extremely cold in it. The Breakfast was rather poor for 5 stars hotel. The carpert in the hall was dirty and it was the unpleasant smell in the corridors

Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately, there was always a bad smell in the hallways and lounge area that seems to come from old drainage system. I guess they are dealing with it.

The lights were hard to navigate, didnt really understand how to use them at all The bed seemed quite unsturdy and flimsy

The hotel staff was incredibly professional! Everything from the champagne greeting to the nightly chocolates was top notch!! The room was fantastic, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom spotlessly clean. The hotel was impeccible! Definitely 5 Stars!! We both felt very welcome and took advantage of the rooftop hottub/ cityview which was heavenly at night along with the hot sauna. The location was fantastic, just a quick walk to the sights, plazas, restaurants and sights. The staff was both knowedgeable and helpful in getting us around town to find attractions, grocery stores and transportation. One of the best places to stay in Spain, definitely in Sevilla! Would return again to the Gran Melio Colon with no hesitation.

The lobby is very modern inside which was a pleasant surprise. We liked the crispness of the red/white floral crystal designs but others looking for a more traditional old world setting may not. We found it quite charming, very Spanish in design with the colors and quite classy. We loved the place especially the updated lobby!!

I stayed at the Red Level Suite, it was a great room with great service. Anything I asked for was delivered instantaneously.

The room was a bit small and the hot tub would not warm up to more than 33degrees.

The roof top jacuzzi overlooks the beautiful city. We loved it. Hotel rooms are very stylish and large. Staff are very kind.

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to major sites; the hotel is modern, comfortable, and its rooms are large and a good value. The amenities offered are excellent; the offerings for breakfast are numerous and of the highest quality; if you desire other breakfast items you can order them at no charge. The staff assisting with breakfast was efficient, courteous and always greeted you with a smile and a "good morning". Similarly, the front desk staff was efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, and most helpful with information or assistance requested.

We have no negative comments. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gran Melia Colon and most likely we will stay at this hotel on our next visit to Sevilla.

We were offered an upgrade to a suite - wonderful, especially as this included tea and coffee making facilities. It is on the edge of the old town with good shopping and interesting walks - churches, museum etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful and booked us into a wonderful flamenco night.

My one complaint was the cleanliness of the shower - the corners hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Sauna and steam room were good.

Our first room was cold-soaked resulting in damp bed linen and making it impossible to sleep. We are grateful to the receptionist who changed our room for the second night to 602 which was much better. We did not expect to pay so much and not be able to sleep.

Staff great and concierge terrific

The music in the bar was aggressive and not suited to the patrons. My husband and I went in twice and took our drinks to our room rather than stay and listen to the noise. There were one or two other patrons (all mid fifties like us) and I don't think they enjoyed it either. We mentioned it to management.

We know it is a cultural matter, but really did not like live bullfighting on the big screen of an otherwise excellent hotel bar. The other clients we saw all had their backs turned to the screen, as did we. Almost impossible to get to the hotel by car through the Sevilla road system

everything was excellent from the moment we arrived and greeting by the charmoig doorman and then reception where we were aofferred a glass of cava, which went down very well after a long drive from Salamanca...the good reports continued and we therefore decided to stay an extra day....I have no negatives for this exceptional hotel !

We booked the hotel as part of a flash deal, so paid about the average price of a 3 star hotel... Staff were great and always willing to help. Greeted with a glass of cava at check in and a free bottle of fino was left in the room for us on the first night. The room was cleaned twice a day and we never once heard the people staying either side, above or below us. Perfectly located for a stay in Seville.

If anything (and it's relatively minor) we did have to get reception to reactivate our room cards twice over a 7 night stay. This was a minor inconvenience which was part of an otherwise great stay.

We thought the whole experience was excellent, very helpful staff, lovely rooms with super air con and breakfast was superb with a fantastic choice of both hot and cold food, we would definetly stay there again.

The Gran Melia Colon is a very nice hotel located within walking and exploring distance to the Cathedral and Alcazar. The rooms are modern,spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided us with a map of the area and sites of interest ect... Sevilla is a beautiful city with much to see. The hotel is close to shopping and all the streets are busy with great little cafes and dining. The hotel restaurant had amazing food. All and all, we would stay here again.

the comfort and design of the bedroom

First class service. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable rooms. Roof terrace with a few long chairs, a jacuzzi and stunning views ! A REAL 5 stars ! We had a great time in this hotel.

Good quiet location, walking distance to historical centre. Very kind, helpful and multilingual staff, very helpful concierge, free WIFI amazing elegant design decor, spectacular lobby, super comfortable bed, magnificent bathroom, advanced lighting with toggle switches, portrait of a Velasquez figure as door decoration. Exceptional breakfast buffet. Good value for money.

We left after paying and remarked that they had forgotten the bill for four breakfasts, returned, and paid them; no reaction of the staff. A week later we received at home an extra bill for a water of the minibar in our room they hadn't informed about but we had forgotten to mention.
