used the hotel restaurant in the evening, ordered two steaks with steamed vegetables, steaks to be cooked well-done . order came back one veal, one chicken- that I don't eat. asked waitress to return, order came back -veal , with blood oozing out, asked her to cook it to well-done .. it was more the body language and facial expressions that got my heckles up.. this to me let my stay down, as a coeliac , and limited to selected food choice, I was looking forward to this meal. but the waitress attitude , put me off. returning to eat there. now on a good note , she did try to accommodate me with my order with us both having language barrier. restaurant was a lovely clean , homely place with culture.. food was good and fresh . was just bad body language and facial attitude that spoilt me returning to the evening restaurant. which is located 2min out side of the hotel. breakfast staff in hotel restaurant were excellent.
ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT : in my opinion to have a kettle, tea /coffee service in the rooms would have made stay more enjoyable, and a welcome pack in the rooms with more tourist details what to see , buses , trams etc map. with various languages would be an advantage to tourists. -badly missed.
customer service at front desk was excellent, helpful and friendly , bar / up house and breakfast staff were all helpful, professional in their duties. hotel was clean and tidy all through the hotel. location was good enough. with taxi and shops 2min walk away. comfortable bed. clean laundry and towels, hot water .
