I like the front desk staff (two ladies)I dealt with. They were most pleasing, helpful and efficient, both before and during our stay. I had a very good impression of the hotel even before I arrived there. The second thing I like most is the free shuttle bus service. The bus was very nice and comfortable, the driver was very polite and professional. The room they assigned to us was very quiet on the fifth floor (exactly what we had requested). This was what we needed after a 13 day long cruise as we slept in the room for 14 hours before we checked out the next morning to go to the airport. The third good thing is the unique design of the hotel such as the bridge from the elevator to the reception, the 6 floors high high ceiling of the lobby , the feeling of being accommodated in a safe and secured place and many more good feelings.

This is not a complaint but perhaps the underground facilities such as the exercise equipments and the swimming pool area and also the shower in the individual rooms need to be renovated/improved in due course.

the bed is ok, big and confortable.. but no bathing pond in the room, only shower. I wondered why there is no bathing pond in four star hotel. the location is not convenient , it is almost 20 min walk to the metro station . the breakfast is disaster, it is just so so . the most unacceptable is the glass is not clean , it is so dirty , I just can't understand this can happen in four star hotel . since clean is must everywhere . the fluit is not fresh . I won't be here next time anyway .

The staff in the breakfast room; when I was getting my breakast at 9.00 , wich is within the opening hours, there were few people reamaing in the room, and they were already cleaning, and moving around, and making noise with their trolley , without taking care of the customers ..... We were probably ennoying them by being there !

As during my previous visit, I apreciated the breakfast which is of high quality and the quality of staff. Indeed, it is unusual to find hostesses who spokes English and French like them and is as enjoyable for their attention.

It is unfortunate that for this range of world class hotel that have only Spanish channels on tv. No French tv channel despite the proximity to France or even of English channels. In addition, having previously stayed at this hotel several months ago (18 to 24 months), I noticed a deterioration in the quality of the room and bathroom, such as marks on the walls, marks of oxidation in the shower, the shower drain ... This rapid degradation is evidence of a lack of maintenance.

Breakfast - really good choice.

We ate in the restaurant in the evening - there is no atmosphere - its like a school canteen, menu very limited and staff very slow.

The hotel was close to Montjuic and the airport, reasonably priced, with very helpful staff.

Our room's bathroom drain emitted extreme sewer odors, to the point of watering eyes, and having to keep windows and door open, and blocking drain with garbage can. Staff offered another room, which we checked first and found to be just as bad, so we stayed put for one more night.

Bar closes at 11 o clock,far far too early for Residents,we had to go to hotel down the way for Bar,,night Porter was not very helpfull, Location ; Industrial area, But there is Buses to city every few mins

Free parking space out of the hotel. Location, close to the city.

No water supply when we checked out in the morning, we can't take any shower and have to ask for the bottle of water to brush our teeth and wash our face, flush toilet is a nightmare.

The location was excellent - halfway between the city centre and the beach. There was a large shopping centre which was a ten minute walk down the road. Here the restaurants and shops were far cheaper then anything in the city centre.

Great value for the price. The staff were very helpful, the room was very large and well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable.

It was difficult to find the hotel, and it is quite far from downtown Barcelona.
