Geranios Suites & Spa  

The location was excellent and suites were large.

Having travelled extensively over the world and normally stayed in 5star or 4star hotels, I can say without any doubt, this is not a 5star hotel. At best it is 3star. The hotel lobby and corridors are cold, dark and unwelcoming, with the strangest combination of colours and metal. The seats in the lobby are a brown plastic and are well worn. The room we were initially allocated had a terrible outlook so i immediatly complained and agreed to pay another 175 euros (per week) for a front sea facing room. We were lucky because these rooms are normally booked in advance. The hotel is grossly understaffed with no maintenance staff ever visible and this shows in the pool area with broken floor tiles and dirty pools. The pool bar is almost non existant, only opening when they have somebody to staff it. The whole place appears to be running on a very tight budget. The food choice was very basic and from the first night it soon became clear that the menu never changes (terrible), some vegetables from the previous nights dinner were put in the buffet for breakfast, weird! The architect was obviously totally eccentric, it just does not work and the building is already looking very rundown. To sum up the location was good, the rooms, although not cleaned very well, are a good size, the rest of it is total rubbish. The local council needs to buy the owners out, pull it down and let a real hotel company rebuild on this prime location.

Location biggest plus right on the seafront near the golf course and the shopping and restaurant area. Staff both at reception and cleaners of rooms were very pleasant.

Alot of money has been spent on this complex but it was not well spent, bar and restaurant had no atmosphere. We were disappointed in our bedroom and balcony, balcony very badly finished. Kitchette was very small they definitly did not want to encourage cooking and very few utensils the worst I have ever seen. The hotel had no character. I would prefer to try somewhere else in caleta de fuste.

Loved the spaciousness of the suites and balcony, also the fact that the microwave had a grill. The staff were really obliging and pleasant, especially Itziar, which made our 2 weeks stay so enjoyable. The location was just perfect for us; beside the beach and just a few minutes to great restaurants etc. also great for long walks on the prom.

Double bed option would be good. Lack or information re: Spa facilities, Dining etc. - all the usual info you expect in the room - not there!

Not much of an atmosphere in dining hall, food not particularly special, no signs to pool, gym etc and difficult to find what treatments were on offer - lack on information

Excellent location right next to the beach and a 5 min stroll to the resort centre. Relaxed atmoshpere. Supermarket, a few shops and an independent seafront cafe bar within the complex. Very spacious, well planned and well furnished rooms, spotlessly.clean with good sized balconies. Only 10 mins in a taxi to the airport. Perfect base for a quiet, relaxing beach holiday for couples.

i liked that hotel is by the beach, didnt have a chance to check out spa, so cant say anythink about that, but its definatly not a 5 star hotel i would say 3.

staff is very rude especialy bartender,i couldn believe how rude he was serving customers in 5 star hotel. room wasnt cleanes every day exept for bed and touilet, but we left few vine glasse by the sink and after cleaning they wasnt even washed .

nice rooms, spacious and clean

no wifi in the lobby (system down) broken television in the room (and not fixed despite my 3 calls to reception). The entire building seems out of maintenance and the staffs didn't care about anything... typical lazy attitude like... hasta magnana .. that means: will see tomorrow !!!
