Hotel Solvi  

We (couple with 3.5 year old child) stayed in Hotel Solvi70 for 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. Great location (a few steps from the beach, restaurants and shops), very friendly staff and room with sea-view! Because it is so central it is not the most quiet place, especially at weekends. Good breakfast (very good coffe!), room clean and newly renovated, air-con and bathroom all ok. Building itself a bit of 70ies charm, but nicely renovated. Nice terrace for breakfast & diner and a panorama terrace on the roof for chilling out... No private parking but free (and big) public parking just opposite the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend the hotel!

Location is very good, very close to beach, and beachside cafes/restaurants, 15-20 min walking distance to train station and old town. Hotel is very nice for a 2 star, with just the stairs looking a bit tatty. Room was clean, but was not cleaned in our stay, despite us putting the please clean room sign out (although this was after about 2pm). Tap water is horrible in Barcelona area - but bottled water cheap to buy. Breakfast fine - ham, croissants, squash, coffee, hot bread, butter, jam, cereals, drinkable water! Was a bit miffed when we were not allowed on the rooftop terrace at about 6pm. We wanted to buy a drink in the downstarirs bar and take it up, but they said we weren't allowed as they had sprayed some mozzie spray... Well this is fair enough for 30 mins, but they said it was toxic all night, which for an open air terrace was somewhat surpsising!! Downstairs is ok for drinking, but was very cold as is in shadow in the afternoon and we could see that lovely sun on the unusable terrace - madness!! I went up to terrace during the day to take a peek and it is really good. However, the staff made up for this annoyance by letting us check out late on the final day. We had been at a wedding, so didn't get in til 6am, so the extra time granted was very welcome and we are incredibly grateful to the staff for this.

Make the rooftop terrace available until the sun sets!!!! What a waste of a great asset.

In a good location, quite close to the beach. Free parking opposite the hotel.

Stair carpet was covered in bits the whole time we were there had never seen a hoover, which gave impression of unclean rooms which was not the case. Breakfast was buffet but not much choice and only one cup of coffee

Would never choose an other hotel - have been 5 times to Solvi - there I have all I need :) thank´s awesome staff !! :)

Like Hotel Solvi very much - great staff and location - have been there before and will be there again !

Nous venons de passer 4 jours à l'hôtel SOLVI et nous avons été enchantés, tant par l'accueil chaleureux du personnel qui a toujours le sourire et est à nos petits soins, la cuisine raffinée et excellente, la propreté de l'hôtel, le balcon face à la mer, et la terrasse panoramique très agréable. Cet hôtel est à recommander, preuve en est nous y retournons en juillet

Posizione sicuramente strategica sul lungomare, non lontano da treno e bus per collegamento sia con aeroporto che con Barcelona, simpatia e accoglienza dei titolari e del personale decisamente notevole, come anche la serietà professionale e l'impegno per l'ecosistema. Ottima la cucina.

Si estaba todo muy correcto, habitación sencilla pero limpia y un personal muy agradable. Como sugerencia, podrían apliar el tamaño de la Tv de las habitaciones por lo demás, por nuestra parte todo perfecto !!!

Generalmente hemos estado bien en todos los aspectos y muy buena ubicación.La habitación tenía lo justo para pernoctar.Sin duda repetiría.

Solo estuvimos una noche, habitacion sencilla pero limpia , nada ruidoso, la atencion estupenda, gente joven supersimpatica.....y sobretodo agradecerles el detalle de que me dejaran subir la bicicleta de mi hijo a la habitacion porque al dia siguiente tenia una competicion de btt...GRACIASSSS...las vistas preciosas...el paseo maritimo muy bonito,en fin lastima de no poder haberlo disfrutado mas...
