This hotel is located in historic central Cadiz, right by the best shopping centers and historic areas. The bus and train station is 5 minutes away and the airport is 25 miles away. Aquaplaya is the Senator Cádiz's superb and exclusive urban spa (fees apply) with a variety of treatments to enjoy. It is open from Tuesday until Sunday. The hotel was in a good location and the pool was lovely. We were in room 308 which has a terrible view. There are residents opposite so there is no privacy.

Location was close to the port for the ferry to Tenerife. Breakfast at €20 per person was overpriced when there are plenty of local cafeterias where a breakfast can be obtained for less than €5.

Great location with al the shops and bars around the corner. Parking can be a problem: Drive your car to the parking garage in the park around the corner before check-in. Then walk the 3 minutes to the hotel with your luggage. It can save you a lot of frustration!

We really liked the spa that was to be "included" in our stay. (See below) We stayed over the holiday and were very disappointed the spa was closed. We didn't even think about that when selecting this hotel. A reminder at booking would have been helpful for the day(s) we selected the room.

Location was perfect - right in the centre of the old town, The staff were friendly and the facilities were good. The swimming pool was one of the factors in choosing this hotel over others - however, when we arrived, my 13 year old daughter was not allowed to swim, as under 16s are only permitted in the pool for about an hour and a half a day around midday! It's mentioned in the small print, but easily missed.

Mainly the location and the availability of parking place (free) The staff is not concentrate to the guest when they are talking or when you are talking to them. They are doing other thing simultaneously or interupt to serve an other client and come back to you klater and so on.

V ery friendly and helpful staff. Fun spa! Located right in the heart of the old town. I thought there should have been something on the web site to warn people about the car lift to the underground garage which was excellent when we got there. Unfortunately our large car got scraped in the way in.

The location is great ... close to downtown and the port .. The breakfast it is not included in price and fr the price you pay needs to have more choices .....I think that as a 4 star hotel needs some arrangements in rooms ....

Excellent location friendly staff and good value for money The hotel advertises good leisure facilities and swimming pool what they don`t tell you is there is a charge for booking . com guests if they wish to use the facilities other guests get to use the leisure facilities free , the charge is 15 euros each for 90 minutes. If they wish to charge they should make it clear.

Location and nice lobby area. Despite being 3 star. The room is very dated. Although is physically clean, it had a damp/stale smell to it. Pool area of the spa is not free to guest staying in the hotel.

Location of the hotel was excellent.Staff very good.The rooms where also excellent value for money. On our visit the indoor pool was n ot available for use. hotel meals were perhaps a little expensive compared to the facilities in Cadiz.

Good location near the old city and shopping area The swimming pool on the top was close due to the end of the season. But it was not notified in booking.com The spa facilities was not included in the hotel price and was closed during the morning and after 9:30pm . This was not specified in booking.com

Convenient location for old town Cadiz Friendly staff ready to help. Very clean Spacious rooms The air conditioning in room did not work at all, the temperature in the room was 28 c and the fan very noisy.. After complaining twice we were given another room which was excellent, efficient air conditioning and a very quiet fan. We wanted to use the very small pool area but all sun loungers in poor condition and only 1 umbrella - temperature was in the 90'S. These two points aside we liked the hotel.
