Location: Hotel is located between old town and new town. Step away from a lovely beach. Food: Breakfast had plenty to choose from, something for everyone. The snack bar is reasonably priced too but stopped serving at 4pm. We didn't opt for dinner but outside the hotel there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Entertainment: Daily fun and activities at the pool for kids and adults, water areobics etc. There are lots of good disco bars and nightclubs for all ages a short walk from the hotel. Accomodation: Clean towels are provided daily at reception for sunbeds, room is kept spotless, change of towels daily, all kitchen equipment is kept very clean. All rooms have a balcony with either a pool or beach view. Shopping: Hotel has its own handy supermarket, loads of shops located around and is a five min walk to a big shopping centre with shops like Zara etc, the shopping is not cheap so you wouldnt really bother. Overall I reccommend this hotel for any age group, will be returning. The bed in the room was quite hard and the noise of toilets flushing at night are very loud. The hairdryer in the room was very poor so I had to rent one from reception for €10 for the week, which was ok. There are quite a few broken sun beds around the pool. Drinks around the pool are expensive at €2.50 for a small cup of coke, I reccommend buying drinks and ice cream etc from the supermarket at half that price.

Easy access onto beach from garden area. We were on a b&b basis but had the option of the evening meal which was good value in comparison to some of the restaurants in Puerto del Carmen. The apartment was spacious with a large veranda overlooking pool and beach. It was cleaned every day and the staff were very friendly. The supermarked was integrated into the apartment block. There was good musical entertainment each night but for some reason was poorly attended. The kitchen equipment could have been better. I would definitely stay here again. As our return flight was late evening and there was no booking for our apartment on that day, the receptionist allowed us to stay on there until our airport shuttle bus arrived. We were very grateful for this and must say a big thank you to the receptionist. I would stay here again.

Its location is perfect with direct access to the beach. The apartment was very comfortable and had a wonderful view and sunny, air filled atmosphere. The apartment lacked a few basic items such as an iron and ironing board, microwave, ice storage compartment/box, toaster and there were very few english speaking TV Channels available.

Liked that I could step onto the beach straight from the pool. Sunbeds continue to be booked very early in the morning despite the best efforts of the pool attendent.

I liked the beach-side location, the staff were helpful and friendly, the sun loungers were very comfy. Views were a bit restricted due to palm trees! Poolside was quite busy had to get up early to get sun loungers, breakfast area was quite spaced out and as per usual no trays, felt like you were up and down like a yo-yo by the time you had your breakfast sorted something would have gone cold. Two single beds stuck together, not that comfy, dark bedrooms, brutal TV stations. Didn't quite feel like the 860 odd euro that we paid for one week, certainly a very nice hotel but should be cheaper.

I was most unfortunate to have an accident in the apartment 208 The steps from bedroom bathroom area to the living area are not clearly marked..There is no gate hand rail dististinctive marking or colour on them to distinguish them from rest of floor area. There is also no warning in apartment. A verbale warning and note at check-in is inadequate. My accident resulted in a stay in hospital and hip replacement operation from which I am still recovering I feel you should warn prospective clients of the danger

Myself and my husband stayed at Suite Hotel Fariones Playa for 11 days. We choose this Suite Hotel because it was recommended by friends. We enyoyed every minute of our stay and did not get around to using even half of the many services and facilities provided. Our apartment was lovely with beautiful sea view, it was cleaned thoroughly everyday. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in everyway. We took the buffet breakfast each morning - a real treat and great value. The location is excellent- only 15-20mins from airport, next to Oldtown which is beautiful and close to many great restaurants. We will certainly stay in the Suite Hotel Fariones any time we go to Lanzarote. We have our eyes on the perfect apartment!!!

It is a beautiful relaxing place. The gardens and pool area are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect, close to the beach and the town There is nothing that I could complain about, it was perfect. The only bad thing was having to leave and return home

I loved the nearness to the sea and beach. Also I thought breakfast was really nice. The attitude of some of the reception staff was not good. The fridge did not have an ice compartment and there was no ice maker on each landing. The staff called loudly to each other at 7.30am each morning. I had to pay for a fan - this is not good as the accommodation is nto exactly cheap - no price drop inspite of the recession

Size of our suite. Water and wine and fruit a lovely gesture in room Pool area, people placing towels on sunbeds early morning. Then not returning to use them until later . This would stop me using the hotel in future. This needs to be controlled.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is reight beside the beach and just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a huge choice of foods. The rooms are very clean and quite comfortable. The decor is a bit disappoininting as it's quite dated. Four star standards in Ireland compared with Spain appear very different therefore I felt that the hotel is over priced. The reception staff are a little grumpy. Although they are helpful with any query that was asked, service with a smile was not provided.
