Excellent Location, just a few minutes walk from the Royal Castle and the Gran Via. Friendly staff.

Almost absolutely everything. The rooms are superbly equipped, it's almost flat. Excellent service. Great place to visit Madrid. I would recommend highly.

1. The staff: Justyna at the front desk was the best -- courteous, helpful, attentive & efficient. She gave us the lay of the land around the hotel, city maps, suggested restaurants, arranged for out taxi to the airport, etc. Always with a smile. 2. Proximity to transit - Plaza de Espana is 2 minutes away. Santo Domingo is 3-4 minutes perhaps. From here to Sol is just 5-6 minutes (2 or 3 stops) via metro. Highly convenient. Getting from Atocha to here with luggage was no problem at all. 3. Location - side streets can take you to Gran Via (the main thoroughfare of Madrid) in 2 minutes. You can walk from the hotel to the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza de Espana, Temple DeBod, montana park. 3. Large room & bathroom with bidet. These are suites so they have a handy kitchenette. Bed & pillows were comfortable (we got a king bed although we had booked a Queen). ** Just remember to hang the tag on the door on the days you want your rooms cleaned. ** 4. Right next door is an Asian grocery with all the supplies you need. 5. Several eateries along the street as well as many along Gran Via. 6. Good value for money for what we paid. 7. We felt that the area was safe. For similar room rates, we would stay here again, no question.

1. Hotel has little to no curb appeal. The front door / facade could benefit greatly from just a quick power wash. 2. Cleaning staff may be a bit inattentive.

Luxurious feel for the rooms.kitchenette was provided which was a bonus.Staff Tom was excellent in his service.

Water flooded out from the toilet,no proper drainage.however i would stay here again in future cause the pros outweighed the cons.good service makes u feel safe and at home.

We really enjoyed our staying at this hotel. It is in a very convenient place at the centre of the city. Our room was very big and comfortable as well as the bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend it.

I think the maid was a little bit careless in a few (not so important) things.

Great location, just a few steps away from Gran Via and Plaza de Espana; friendly and professional staff, very good value for money.

Large room with a huge bathroom with tub. Kitchenette - no amenities, but the fridge was nice to have, as we didn't have breakfast included.

Perfume was sprayed all over the reception area - worst at the elevator. The room was very warm and the air con didn't seem to work. The weather was cool, though, so easy to open window.

This is the 3rd time I went to this hotel and all was perfect as usually. The best is the location, staff and conformt.

This time, there is anything that I didn't like.

The room was way bigger than expected. For the amount we paid, it was very worthwhile. The location is really good - a stone's throw from the Palace and walking distance to the Cathedral and food places.

Because the room was so big and equipped with two TVs, we didn't manage to fully utilise the room. Also, the walls are not very soundproof. However, the noise penetration is bearable.

The recepcionists were always kind and friendly, they helped me with a variety of questions about the city. They always had an smile on their faces and it looked sincere - there is nothing worse than a fake smile.

Very clean, great value for money, great location and while downtown you could sleep without hearing a single noise.

The kitchen could have been equipped but that wasn't a negative really.

I came to this hotel again and I love it. Location, cleanness, staff.

The room where I stayed (Room 16) has a very poor WiFi signal. I would say there is no WiFi on that room.

The staff are very helpful and speak English very well. The rooms are clean and the location is very strategic to walk around the city.

The room has a little kitchen but no cooking facilities. As simple things like water kettle and a microwaveable mug will b ideal.

The whole experience was very great, since I entered through the door until I check-out. The staff was really friendly and helpful. And the room was fantastic; more than I expected from the money value I paid for.
