The hotel location, the staff who are so helpful and professional. The general upkeep of the hotel. The restaurant and food excellent that caters for all nationalities. In general this hotel is excellent and worthy of four stars. Unfortunately I was taken ill on the last day of our holiday and it resulted in me having to be admitted to hospital in Palma. With the hotel closing for the season that afternoon, the manager arranged for our luggage to be transferred to a sister hotel near Palma and even arranged for our luggage to be transferred to the other hotel. I have nothing but praise for the management and staff at the hotel and would recommend the hotel to clients that wish to receive 4 star hotel facilities.
Nothing what so ever!
Hotel too spread out main reception very very far away from rooms so every trip to reception was painful
wifi in the hotel should be free of charge...food every day the same...staff not very interested customers...lack of good quality artistic programs
Views Ambience Star Prestige facilities
Restaurant lighting too bright at night Noise from extractor fans
THE ROOMS WERE SUPERB THE LOCATION TO DIE FOR HOTEL STAFF GREAT LOVED THE JACUZZI IN THE ROOM LOVED THE VIEW WERE THER FOR BED AND BREAKFAST AND A GREAT CHOICE
THE BEDS TOO HARD THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT GOOD NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH
- nice prestige area - helpful and kind Staff - various and tasty food - see view - clean and quiet pool area
- not sufficient central air-co
Excellent food. Staff very helpful. Lovely views. Lovely bright and airy rooms.
One member of staff wbo was very rude.
There was not anything to dislike about the service and facilities at this hotel,The prestige area was idyllic, food was really good with lots of variety, rooms good size, clean and well looked after. The service provided by 99% of the staff was excellent and a credit to the Iberostar chain
One waiter took it upon himself to be rude and tried to belittle me in front of the other guests as he wasnt happy where my sister and I had sat, which was an empty table, however i did not feel it was justified and so i polity and discreetly told him as such as there was no need for him to speak to any customer in that way
Reception staff rude. Checked out and paid day prior to leaving but was stopped from leaving next morning as they had made a mistake with my bill. Embarrassed in front of my friends and made to feel like a criminal when it was their mistake. no apology was given and spoilt what was a very good holiday.
i loved the staff their specially Miriam as gust realation & i belive she,s the star of the Hotel
love to see night manager & more security at night to keep the guest in good condetion
Stayed at the Prestige Club and really enjoyed it. The room, pool, spa and dinner buffet are all excellent. Most importantly, their service was amazing!
The Hotel has a beautiful position, its also very quiet since its adults only. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade to the new Prestige area. This has only opened this year and its a very nice improvement in facilities. We paid the extra charges and upgraded to Prestige.
We have been here before 3/4 times. We have tried different options when booking rooms, sometimes breakfast, sometimes half board. This time we went room only. We don't like the buffet food, there's various choices but it always manages to taste bland. We especially don't like the "restaurant" its a dining room, very large and very brightly lit. We feel its time to "upgrade" the dining facilities, its too dated. When we looked at a few room options, we went for the "swim up" to be honest its an old room adjacent to the new pool area, your terrace is right beside the pool. Its nice but am not sure its worth the extra charges. We had some problem with the room, its a problem we had when we stayed there previously so it is not acceptable to have to experience this again. The jacuzzi bath had a bad smell from the air hoses last time we stayed here, so I wouldnt use the bath. When I tried to fill it up, there was a very unpleasant "scum" floating in the water. I wouldnt use it this time either after I found a similar problem. To be fair, the technician was sent to do a clean but its not good enough, I wouldnt use the room jacuzzi again. The bedrooms are "tired" and overdue a make over, we had a room with a wetfloor ugh, it was not pleasant to shower in, the water gathered in a pool so I had to stand in water up to my ankles. It was not pleasant. We found the pillows were very uncomfortable. there was just one bolster type pillow each and then bed cushions which are not for sleeping on really. The bolster was flat as a pancake. I think the bed throws and cushions are covered in fabric which is quite rough, maybe intended to look rustic but not really pleasant in sunny Majorca and the heat.
I liked it being adults only, The pool, Staff, Room. Being by the sea. The Spa The complex was quiet in the evenings
Didn't like the town
The Staff and facilities were excellent.
If you book a room for the prestige suite, you should get the prestige suite. The other parts of the hotel are tired and need renovating. For example the air-conditioning is not strong enough in the rooms, and whilst spacious are not modern. More authenticity is required by the hotel management in ensuring guests receive what they have booked. This seemed to be a common occurance and lets this hotel down. Also free water should be available everywhere.
The Thai day spa was superb. The staff were friendly.
Food wasn't great for lunch and over priced for taste and quality. Breakfast was lovely though. I would recommend eating out for lunch and dinner.
Very helpfull and friendly staff. Location is excellent, beautiful views, great pools, direct access to go swimming in the ocean just a few steps away from different luxury outdoor beach chairs or private beds. We really enjoyed the privilege section, because it is more quiet and extra luxurious
Towels ran out quickly and were sometimes hard to get by.
We've stayed in a junior suit that was spacious with a huge balcony. The food was really good. The cleanliness excellent. The staff were friendly with a smile. We would recommend this hotel.
The only negative is the bed, it was really hard, quite uncomfortable to sleep in.
The most amazing buffet, the food was tasty and tasteful, vast selection for all dietary preferences, different every day. The terrace and the view were fantastic, I could stay there forever.
The bedroom was above the kitchen/restaurant so it was a bit noisy early in the morning and late at night during preparation and clean up but if you're not a light sleeper or have a pair of earplugs it's not a problem
We liked mostly everything, staff were helpful, smiling, couldn't do enough, except for one person at the prestige pool bar. Lovely breakfasts, but only ate dinner once in restaurant which was very good. A few little niggles such as only one small bin in the whole suite and the hangers were only designed with men in mind, nothing suitable for skirts and longish dresses.
Friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi (and snacks during lunchtime) in prestige area. Lovely and tasteful dinner with lots of choice from all sorts of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, and deserts. Balcony facing south with view across the bay. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day. Live music (quality jazz, easy listening, classical guitar) every night. Separate air-conditioning in living room and bedroom. Perfect location to start your drive into the Serra de Tramuntana or along the coast (MA-10) and visit villages like Valldemossa and Deiá or the beautiful Jardines de Alfabia.
The noise of air-conditioning and big-hotel facilities at night. No private parking for your rent-a-car; you have to find a place somewhere along the crowded road. Loud live music across the bay on Santa Ponsa beach, every (late) night.
Location was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent . cannot be faulted.Leisure facilities in the hotel was good. Swimming, fitness, sauna, etc.
For what you pay for the hotel you think that a few basic things would be in place. Such as tea/coffee making facilities without having to pay extra WiFi would have been nice without having to pay a considerable amount for it, and having to go to nearest local coffee bar to get it free. Had a problem with water leak coming through the ceiling towards the end which never got sorted.
Love the location the views absolutely stunning, we stayed in the star prestige area and could not fault it, the pool lovely and peaceful and direct access to the sea great for snorkelling!! The staff were lovely always smiling and the cleanliness around the hotel and the pool area fantastic! Service always efficient! A great selection of food for breakfast and dinner and all very very tasty! A great touch in the prestige area is the free snacks throughout the day so we rarely bought lunch as this was enough!
No dislikes one thing to mention is you have to pay to your room for everything so if you wanted to pay for drinks or snacks by cash you can't you settle the bill at the end of your stay, not a problem just worth a mention
We have visited various resorts in Majorca over the years, but this is the best hotel in terms of location, views, facilities and service we have come across. We booked a room on the 6th floor of the Suites Prestige block, which was very comfortable and had a magnificent view over the Bay. Suites Prestige have a separate reception, lounge, bar, pool and patio area, where free refreshments are available morning and afternoon, and guests can also use the facilities in the larger general area of the hotel. We booked half board, and the range and quality of food at both the breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. The indoor restaurant is large and very bright, but the outdoor terrace provides lovely views of the bay and a more relaxed ambience. All the staff were efficient, helpful and very friendly creating a cheerful atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but some male guests could choose to be a bit more smartly dressed at dinner.
Size of rooms View was lovely Prestige pool Quiet overall no idiots
Pillows could be better More sunbeds around prestige area as you had to get up early to get one
