Sun & Moon Hostel

The hostel was in the most central area, at almost la Rambla street. Value for money. The room was cheap in comparison to all the other hotels of the area, but not so cheap for what it was offering to us. The breakfast was specific and short but it was included in the price.

Expensive in terms of what it offered. No wifi in the room or tv. Not so clean. Inadequate door security.

The hard row specially in the evenings and the nighttimes. Unclean

Staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Speaks very good English. The lockers are in the room. And the very good thing that the bathrooms are in the rooms. The location is right at la ramblas, just 2 minutes away.

Noisy at night, but that's just the way hostels are.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and patient staff. In the center of the Gothic area. Walking distance from Airport bus and all major attractions. Cheapest price in the area.

Room had no windows, poor ventilation, and the 8 beds were very close together. Quite claustrophobic! Also noisy, not recommended for light sleepers.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room (double) was very good value for money. The location splendid. The facilities and services more than met my expectations.

The staff was friendly, smiley and helpful. The breakfast was really good for this price, and the receptionist gave us free dinner cards, so we could eat at a nearby travel bar, we only had to pay for our drinks. The room was clean, and the whole hostel has a happy atmosphere. The best part is that Sun & Moon is in the centre. You step out to the street and you have everything. Stores, restaurants, bars, pubs, and many-many people. We were in a room with four more people, but they were really nice.

On the first night I could sleep only like 2 hours because of the noise. The walls are really thin, and many travelers are very noisy in hostels like this, but for most young people I think it won't be a problem, Just bring earplugs if you can't sleep well in noisier places. I think the only realy bad thing was that we did'nt have warm water in our room for two nights.

There is no hot water in the shower generally.

Its price seems reasonable among all hostels! The hostel staff is always showing hospitality to customers and smiling.

The conditions in the rooms seems unsatisfactory, especially the cleanliness that should be improved. One room accommodates 8 people and the location is near to the busiest street but a little dirty nearby.

the night time staff were not freindly. the day time staff were lovely. the facilities were really bad thou. i didnt have one hot shower during the whole stay. all the computers were broken couldn get on to the internet and it was really weak if we logged in with our phones.

Cheap! Bathroom & toilette equiped in the room. Friendly staff. Overall, fair for money.

The location was perfect, the airco was working and the staff helpfull.

The room only had a bed and airco. Not even a glass or pen and paper. No clean towels during a 4 night stay. We had to walk 4 floors up (no elevator) to the private rooms. It is not like the pictures. And very noisy! Bring your earplugs!

Breakfast - very poor. More packaging than actual food. Nothing fresh Internet - worked only intermittently. WiFi did not work in the dorms Dorms - top bunks were set such that the ladders were inaccessible. Had to climb on other beds to get to top bunk. Extremely noisy at night Dorms - barely any room to turn around between bunks - no facilities to hang towels, bathing suits etc. Bathroom - no mat to step on - floor continuously wet from showering, this is an accident hazard. No place at all to set personal items in the bathroom - for 8 people !! Sheets, towels = not provided - had to be rented (have never experienced such a thing) .

Sun & moon hostel has a great location! The people working there a very nice, always willing to help with every question. They clean the room every 2 days but in my opinion it needs to be done every day. I'm very happy about my decition to book a room in the histel, but also glad that i brought my own sheets, because they looked very dirty. Over all - great location, great people. The breakfest is not horrible, but it's the same every day, and that's not so good

The staff were extremely helpful, and their english was very good. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was computers at the hostel.

Excellent location, in the middle part of la ramble street. The private room is in the opposite side of the street, long and narrow stairs, that's not so nice. But the staffs there are quite nice, the reception open 24 hours. We have early filght they help us to book the taxi and keep the door close when there are some drunk people. I like the service in the hotel. But the breakfast offer drinks and several sweet biscuits or chocolate stuff, I don't like eat sweet. But it still quite good hotel.
