Nice, spacious room, with balcony overlooking Gran Via. Good decor and modern bathroom. Spacious desk and good wifi for work/laptop. Had a safe and a fridge/mini-bar. I was on the 6th floor so quite dependent upon the lift, which was extremely slow. It took ages to arrive each time I went in or out and moved very slowly between floors. In the room my only criticism is that the mattress was hard and not particularly comfortable.

It was pretty clean. Beds were awful,two single beds put side by side,very uncomfortable.only one pillow. Tv was very old.positioned badly. could not relax in room.

The place of the hotel is good as it is close to the city center by walking and also to the main metro stations. - the heating was not good for some reason. - they are asking for the room key whenever you leave the hotel during the day.

It is in center if city Room is too small. Enormous noise from street traffic. You can not sleep. To expencive. Bed to short.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast was good, and the location was very good. I could smell cigarette smoke coming through the air conditioner or vents and sometimes I could hear noise from other rooms (especially in the bathroom).

Location was nice but you need to walk Atleast 15 minutes to get to placa catalunya also the breakfast was very good with lots of choice of eggs croissants etc The phone in the room was not working had to have it fixed after a day it then became ok

I found the hotel was clean and the staff friendly. This was my second visit to the sunotel in barcelona. I was a bit upset that when I booked the rooms online the price was £235 pounds . When I came to pay the rooms were £285 plus ? I asked the man on reception he said city tax plus vat plus 3 waters from the fridge I felt I had been ripped off , which was a shame to the end of an excellent city break . I would recommend this hotel ,but I would make sure the other people kept hold of their booking receipt ,so they had proof of what they were hoping to pay !

Excellent hotel with friendly staff.Great location with all sights within walking distance.Metro close by.Only 20 mins from airport with drop off point outside hotel. Breakfast not included in price.15 euros a little expensive.

Location was excellent, room clean I do not why they get from us 0,87 Euro more then they should. Crazy! You pay more then 200 Euro and they take from you 1 Euro extra without any reason. Crazy!

Great location near the metro and downtown area. Great breakfast buffet included in the price. Very friendly staff that honored our requests. Spacious clean rooms with comfortable beds We would stay there again.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean. The Internet access was very poor which forced me to stay in my office and work until very late. The TV didn't have a single English spoken channel. This is the first hotel that I'd ever stayed at with this issue.
