The hotel is well-designed with large rooms, a really nice bath, and gorgeous views of the countryside. There is also a balcony with a nice view of Santander on the other side of the bay. The hotel itself is set in a lovely, albeit rural location (you will probably want a car or at least bike). The hotel owners are very nice and made extra effort to speak English. They were very attentive, being almost always at the front desk or otherwise easy to find and prepared a lovely breakfast, especially for the weekends. We didn't bring a car, so they were able to direct us to some attractions and restaurants in the vicinity and gave us a ride to the water taxi station on the last day.

This is a really excellent rural hotel. Because of this, you will want to bring your own transportation. Also, breakfast isn't included in the hotel price, which is worth knowing as alternative eating locations are relatively limited. There are two nearby village restaurants open for lunch and dinner which are both quite good and full of local flavor.

Very helpful proprietor - especially in recommending a restaurant for our evening meal which proved an excellent choice.
