Hotel Sur    

This small hotel is well situated, the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and it is very easy to access from the airport bus stop. Makes for a good stay in Malaga -what more does one want.

Convenience of being so close to the centre of Malaga in a clean and comfortable hotel at a reasonable price.

When I was checked in, the Reception staff had an attitude. No smile like a robot. But when I checked out, diffirent stuff in there. He was friendly.

Great location right in the centre, from the airport you just take the A bus and it drives you direct to Almenada principal- thats where the hotel is. 100 m from calle Larios great for shopping and all of turist attractions no bus is needed. The beach is also nearby. The hotel has just basic things great for those who are out all day, and is very clean. I managed to get two pillows and second blancket with no problem. You dont have breakfast in the hotel but there are a lot of tapas bars around. All in all it was great.

Location is great, couple of minutes to the city center. Garage is spacious enough and in level with street.

Not very spacious room, one long pillow on double and broken bed, only small single window.

Reception staff were efficient polite and professional and had excellent english . Nice people

My room on second floor windows were onto a courtyard type area so I heard too much from late night revellers coming back to their rooms and using the bathroom etc !

Loved the convenience of being so close to the centre of Malaga in a clean and comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. The staff here are so helpful too. This is my second time here and I'll be back again. There is a wonderful French cafe opposite for breakfast with perfect coffee and excellent homemade croissant. A lovely stay in a great city.

It can be a bit noisy - workmen in the early morning and other guests coming in late and leaving early disturbed us this time but I wouldn't let that put you off staying in this great value hotel.

having stayed there a few times before, once again i found the hotel sur to be completely satisfactory, and found the staff again to be helpful, efficient and coureous

The staff are brilliant, the location excellent and value for money wonderful. What a great place to stay, cafe outside the door for breakfast, tourist info and sightseeing bus at the end of the calle and the old town, tapas bars and nightlife 5 minutes away. Not glamorous but a wonderful base. Would highly recommend for travellers like me who need a comfy bed, acces to sights and helpful and kind staff.

The hostel is close to the Marina and the historical centre. Also it´s just behind the corner from the bus stop Almeneda Principal (bus from the airport).

Walls very thin , quite noisy

The room and bathroom were clean. It was located just a block away from the pier and about a 5 minute walk away from the main plazas.

The bed was VERY uncomfortable. You could feel and hear the springs. And the pillow was so flimsy that I had to put towels under it to raise it up. It was also noisy- the sound carried from all around the hotel. I sleep with earplugs but I could still hear it. I didn't get a good night's sleep but luckily we were only staying one night to catch a flight the next morning. If we had been there for any longer I would have changed to a different hotel.

It´s a 10min walk from calle Larios(main street in center) and a 15 min walk from train/bus stations. The staff was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Good wifi coverage in rooms. It´s in the center and affordable! Great value for money!
