The fact that it's not mine ;)
I would say the negative side to our stay was the wind, which was loud, but that is uncontrolable and has nothing to do with the B&B, and I am sure if Samantha could have controlled it, she would have :) A real pleasure of a place to have stayed in, highly recommended. Will surely stay here on future visits to Madrid.
My 10 year old daughter stayed in the attic suite.
+ The views of the financial area, and the city are amazing. It's a shame we were only there for one night in the winter, and couldn't make full use of everything the place has to offer. It must be a real pleasure to sit in those terraces sipping a drink from the complimentary wine bottle on a warmer day / night.
+ The attic is, not just spacious, but BIG, both the room and sitting area, offering a comfortable futon where you can sit and enjoy the nice collection of books available on topics from arts to travel.
+ Samantha is a perfect host, with big bright genuine smile on her face. She is very helpful, from giving us a map and showing us how to get around, to recommending places to eat. We had to leave at 7:30am, and couldn't try her delicious breakfasts I've read about, but she was sweet enough to leave us milkshakes along with some pastries, cookies, and fruit, which were very much appreciated. She also booked us the taxis we needed, which were right on time. She is a pleasure to meet, and will make you feel at home.
+ Very clean, great bathroom complimentary items, comfortable bed.
