Hotel Tarongeta is situated in calm little street, but it is just in 3 minutes walking from bus station (and the sign of the hotel is visible from the station, so you need not search, ask and so on). The staff is very friendly and proposes every help and counsel. My room was spacious, nice and very comfortable.

Close to the delightful seaside village of Cadaque and next to Dali's home village. Just a short walk to the beach front and wonderful seaside walks. Very close to the bus station. We were travelling by bus, so this was great to be within easy walking distance. Supermarkets and restaurants also within easy walking distance. Very helpful English-speaking young woman on reception.

Everything was fine. Staff extra friendly. Unguarded disabled/luggage ramp very close to the hotel desk. No guard or railing to prevent customers from falling backwards onto the ramp if there is even a small crowd around the hotel's desk. My wife fell backward and hurt herself significantly. Hotel staff were concerned and took her to a nearby doctor (we paid for the visit), but with a guarded/railing it never would have happened!!!!

The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. I would like a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea in the afternoons Air conditioning did not work properly. Front desk was often not manned with room keys on the desk for anyone to take.

Easy access from the approach road into town. Basic room, uninspiring at a reasonable price. Staff don't speak English and refused even the normal courtesy response to my frequent Beunos Diaz or Gracias. Once I was forced to wait at least 10 minutes for the free wi-fi access code whilst the manager busied herself clearing tables from the adjoining dinning room, returning to the front desk only after other guests arrived in reception to check out, whereupon this incredibly rude person then making no eye contact or greeting to me in any language, proceeded to process the the (embarrassed) departing guests standing behind me. Finally after these were all done she handed me the password that had been sitting on her desk out of site the whole time. Other than checkin and checkout this was fortunately was the only contact we hard to endure.

The hotel was fairly close to the town centre the parking was close and handy.Every thing we wanted to do and see including Dali s house was within easy reach. The only thing we did not like was from our window we could only see the nearby road junction which was busy from early in the morning and was quite noisy. However as the price of the hotel was reasonable we found that acceptable

I liked only that the hotel had parking available cause its very hard to find parking slot in the city The facilities re very poor. But the worse thing was that u can hear everything what is going around u, if someone is going to watch tv u gonna watch at least hear everything too, was impossible to sleep. The location is outside the area so u need to walk all the way to see people.

The hotel's location just off the road coming into town makes finding it easy, and the free onsite parking is very welcome. Room was reasonably large and the bathroom was huge. Lobby wifi actually reaches out to the chairs and tables set up across the street from the hotel, so you can surf in the open air. The hotel seems a little dark and gloomy, day and night. The location, while convenient to find, is a distance back from the water, with no views, so it doesn't really feel as if you're staying in a coastal town.

For its location in the town of Cadaques, it is reasonably priced. It is also very visible from the approach road into the town and therefore easy to locate. It is also beside the bus station if one is travelling by public transport. The staff were very friendly and recommended a wonderful restaurant to eat in the town. Although the room was spacious there is little or no sound proofing between rooms and between the room and corridors. I would recommend it with this reservation as Cadaques seems to have a very late nightlife.

A comfortable hotel in a lovely city. Nothing fancy, but clean and adequate. Ask for a room away from the street. The hotel is at a busy intersection and street noise will keep a light sleeper awake.

We spend 8 days at the hotel Tarongeta and the staff was always happy to help and advise about interesting places to visit. The room and the bathroom were really big and clean and was nice to have a balcony. Fantastic value for money. Noise of scooters in the morning was a bit annoying but was sorted with earplugs.

The hotel was easy to spot from the main road. Easy walk to the port. A minimarket close by. Room was quiet, comfortable and quite basic. 8€ breakfast was quite poor compared to other places we stayed at.

The staff were very friendly and easy going, the atmosphere nice. All attempts were made to make smokers feel welcome to indulge their habit outside of the premises. Continental breakfast was a no fuss affair that started off the day well. There was no evening bar when the weather was poor, as it was on 2 nights.

“Great location, close to everything, of course, Cadaques isn't very large. Great restaurant around the corner, Al Giani, fabulous pastas and seafood and moderate prices! Hotel rooms very clean, comfy beds, our rooms had side views, others may have water views, very happy we chose it. Only a 20 minute walk to Dali's house/ museum in Port Lligat.” Patricia, Sharon |
