the position is really convenient- the room was really nice Nice cafes for breakfast in the area
the wifi was not working in my room- thought there was internet access in the entrance
This place is noisy, the rooms, tiny. The feeling, uncomfortable.
Good Location Nice room
Location, cleanliness and value for money
There is a bit of noise in the street at night but I think everywhere in central Madrid would be the same.
It was well located and the staff was always helpfull.
No minibar on a suit?. The room floor was incline, curious. No elevator, they should have said.
Good value hotel in the center.
Room at top was quaint & roomy with an excellent veranda that catches the sun. Staff were lovely & couldn't help enough.
Area was central to sites but the streets were very noisy with people shouting at all hours! Maybe part of being near to centre or normal Spanish city life!
Location, friendly staff, comfortable room. The Hostel is only about 500 metres from the Plaza Mayor
Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable . Staff were great and could not so effort for you .. I would stay again but would have a terrace room as the street noise resulted in 2 nights of little sleep ..
Street noise all night resulted in little sleep . Althought this out of control of the hotel maybe more soundproof windows ? However friends also booked a terrace room and didn't hear as much noise , so I would recommend one of those rooms .. Also worth note that no lift..
No elevator. This is the only minus
location was great, staff very helpful and facilities good.
rooms small but that didn't detract from our stay.
Staff very helpful. Room was nice and clean. Much better accommodations then any other hostel within this price point. Room was more like a hotel, but smaller.
The Wi-Fi was intermittent. This shouldn't be a big deal if you're out enjoying the many sites and entertainment.
Room size, Nice staff, near subway.
The say they provide wifi but actually it doesn't work inside the rooms; the street is very noisy. It's impossible to sleep without earplugs. The street nearby is aways dirty and it smells really bad.
Location was fantastic! Right by the metro. Was so quick and cheap to go on the metro from the airport! Room was clean Walking distance to sites Staff friendly too!
Fridge/Tea and coffee making facilities
The staff were delightful!
Internet was choppy
Loved the location, as a solo traveler an on my last week of my European adventure this location hit it right in the nail. I was with the locals an everything was within walking distance. The staff was amazing an very helpful with anything that I needed. Lastly, though it's a hostel it felt move like a hotel which was a must as I needed some relaxation time. Highly recommend this establishment.
Which this was a chain company as I would love to use it in other countries.
Everything was as expected or even better after reading the reviews on line.....
Hmmmm- only excuse is out of shape and age.... I hiked 4 flights of stairs, but actually it wasn't bad. I requested a terrace and I expected it to be a higher floor.
Very close to the tourist centre and metro Modern décor , clean basic rooms Good value No breakfast facilities but plenty of places to eat nearby. Helpful staff , especially Alex I would stay there again
Wifi was very erratic
Nice staff, good location, clean facilities. We recommend
we expect a bigger room, but it was ok
perfect location, nice staff, small rooms but very clean. Reccomended!
Very friendly staff, lovely room and terrace... I will definitely come back!
Very convenient for the part of Madrid I wanted. Quiet. Very clean. Very helpful staff.
I've stayed here 2 different times and loved it both times. The first time I got a double room with a balcony - there was very little street noise up on the 4th floor and the balcony was very nice. The second time I got a regular double room - it had a small balcony and the room, TV and bathroom were actually larger than in the first room. This is a bare-essentials kind of hostel, but a good price with very friendly staff. The hostel is located in an OK neighborhood, but extremely close to a metro station and you can walk to the Plaza Mayor and other tourist locations within minutes.
The rooms are rather small, but still plenty of room for 2 people. The bathrooms are very small. The lower floor rooms have quite a bit of street noise.
Amazing spot to stay at Madrid. Near the Metro and City Center. Good price
