Wonderful breakfast Very friendly staff Comfortable room Relaxing lobby bar
Everything was good and the staff in the bar even spoke scottish slang words
room upgrade sleeping bed was very comforting great location for sightseeing Sangria was the best in all of Spain
at breakfast best to give a carafe of coffee or hot water to relieve the waitor from too many requests
Big hall & nice staff
Bad location, no supermarkets or restaurants around. Very bad wifi no connection in the rooms which is really disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Miss-leading information in booking.com as the swimming pool is a separate entity from them & have to take approval from their staff to enter it.
Two main Restaurants were shut
Easy to find from the metro and the staff were just as they should be, friendly, interested and efficient. The facilities were quiet, clean and of a very hogh standard. It was one of the best hotels we've stayed in.
There are lots of 5* hotels around, what sets this apart is the staff. Particularly management. We couldn't ask for more, (maybe free wifi in rooms, instead of the lobby). That's the only complaint. And it's not a complaint. We'll definitely return next year.
No unexpected inconveniences. Pool was a bit too quiet for kids.
Front staff a bit curt. No solutions were offered when confronted with children's needs. A long silent stand off was averted with my suggestions, not theirs.
The hotel is in a great location. You take a 15 minute walk to the old town or there are buses close by to take to you to places like the beach or science museum/aquarium. The staff are all friendly and the concierge in particular are always very attentive in the reception area. The spa is excellent and is a great way to relax after a long day of walking around.
We weren't told about free Wifi in the communal areas of the hotel and ended up paying around £4 for an hour in our room.
Location, room size and SPA
AC not working room very hot.
excellent location great and friendly staff
wifi in my room was not the best connection
Clean, conveniently located
Under the name of being 'green', they have eliminated all amenities from the room and they only bring it to your room when you ask for it. No slippers, no shoe shine, no cotton tips .. etc. Also the spa is overestimated. It is very small, the steam room is extremely dirty and old.
We really liked the setting of the hotel, with its beautiful court yard with live entertainment every evening. We had the junior suite on the second which was a decent size with all the ammenities.
We ate in the restaurant twice, first night we had the paella ehich was great but the second night was a disappointment as the food was cold and the service poor.
The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. The inside courtyard was a wonderful place to sit and relax, like an oasis in the middle of the city. The food was great and the bartender made wonderful drinks. Very spacious and comfortable room.
A little hard to get a wifi connection
we received an email the day before our arrival explaining us that our room will not be ready before 8 PP!!! After several emails back we finally had another room smaller but with free wifi + breakfast and available at 3 PM.
It was a wonderful experience - great room, pool and two well equipped gyms. A destination in itself!
On the first morning of our stay, I got sick. I got a bad vomiting bug, the staff couldn't do enough for me. Got the doctor, translated & brought lots of complimentary soft drinks & water. They all suggested if I wanted the entire room cleaned at 10pm at night after been sick in it all day. House keeping came in & changed the full linen disenfecfed everything new bathrobes towels etc. Literally they couldn't do enough, best staff I've seen at a hotel!!
Nothing to comment here
This is one of most favourite hotels. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Valencia. The staff cannot do enough to help you, always there when you need them, so friendly and efficient. We love the garden in the centre of the hotel, such a peaceful oasis. Huge rooms with quality furnishings. Great food in the restaurants, and the hotel is in a fantastic location close to the parks and amenities in the old river bed and 10 minutes walk from the centre of the old town.
Check in/out was easy. Room was just great and clean. Excellent service during breakfast. During check out staff informed me that I had left my e book in the room. Fantastic.
On Monday night hotel security managed to open my door. It was scarey to say the least. I left a black board with my family name in the room. I asked for it but I was told that it was never found. I asked for a taxi to the airport. When I arrived at the airport I was told by airport security that the taxi the hotel got me was illegal.
The Staff throughout the Hotel We're fantastic, polite and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We stayed in room 160 The size of the room was great. Unfortunately it wasn't warm enough. The air blowing through the vents was only just about warm. The vent above the entrance door did not seem to be emitting any heat, and with the entrance to the bedroom being open the cold air from the entrance hall / bathroom was negating the heat from the bedroom. We did complain but the problem did not seem to be solvable. The Wi Fi although available in public areas was too expensive to utilise in our room. Finally it would have been good to have had Satellite programmes available, as the only English Channel was BBC World News.
great hotel in most ways
I chose the hotel because it said it welcomes pets. I signed agreement saying I would not leave the pet on it's own in the room. Fair enough, I wouldn't want it otherwise. But we arrived to find that the only place we could be was in the room. There is no other place I could eat except in the court-yard of the hotel, which is too cold in winter. Spain is not pet friendly, so I was hoping the hotel really was. I am disappointed.
Very comfortable beds and very quiet location and rooms.
Missing WC brush in toilets. Personnel very keen to say "I'll tell my colleague..." but not to actually do what is required (booking a taxi, adding the extra bed, providing room service...), most of the times personnel would tell lies to the customer to sustain inability or unwillingness to do things.
Rooms size and the facilities
More equipped Fitness Centre ans for example Spa was closed on January 01 - strange for five star hotel
Location, room, breakfast are good
No wi-fi in the room
Lovely hotel. Valencia is a fantastic city to visit and the Westin made it even more special.
