Great location, close to the Villamarta theatre and right in the town centre. Safe area and short walk to cathedral and tourist sites. There is a 24 hr front desk and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you can get a good price then this is a good deal hotel. It is very basic and not particularly interesting but clean. I didn't try the breakfast so can't comment but there are plenty of places to eat nearby for next to nothing and a late night convenience store next door. The cafe across the square was good for breakfast and only €3. My room was right on the square and my first thought was that it would be too noisy -there are buses and people out late on weekends but actually it was fine.
There is no laundry service which is quite inconvenient for a long stay. The tv signal was poor so didn't end up using it. There are blankets for bedding which I'm not keen on.
Staff very friendly and spoke good English Nice terrace attached to the bedroom
Paid 10 euros ahead for breakfast to find the daily charge in the hotel was 7euros. Wifi not available in the bedroom
Location very good
The hotel is very tired. Stayed there last year but nothing has been updated, renewed etc. TVs &?computer in foyer so old. Public furniture needs replacing
Location was great. Reception staff were helpful and polite
Room smelt of cigarettes/ air con was controlled at reception! Bathroom lay out was poor as the bidet was opposite the toilet with limited space to sit on either!
location and cleanliness
location and access to our room was through a metal corridor with a dingy carpet. there was a big hole in the ceiling of our room and the beds terribly uncfortable
This was a very pleasant hotel, well above expectation at the price. Very helpful and friendly staff, quite spacious room and good location.
Decorated to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - very good value for money
Nice stuff, clean
carpark too small, not good Internet connection
The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was fantastic... within walking distance of all the sights and a taxi rank outside front if you wanted to venture further afield.
The rooms really need to be updated. I felt as if my pillow was older than me (and that´s saying something!) The wifi coverage is not available in the rooms. The beds are noisy no matter which way you move. The bathroom is fine but the shower wasn´t particularly strong, nor was the hot water readily available.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel was in need of refurbishing as it appears old and worn. Corridor to our room was poorly lit.
Central location, 5 minutes to the old town with lots of bars and restaurants
At first we got the room that had water and mold in the bathroom, and the window was facing the hotel corridor. Upon request we were given another room, that was still facing the corridor, but bith a better bathroom. Also, be aware that when the staff starts to clean the rooms at 8 a.m., it feels like you are trying to sleep in the middle of a construction site - extremely noisy (dragging beds, throwing things on the floor etc). Consider this if you like to sleep later than 8 a.m. Almost impossible to find a free car parking space nearby - we had to leave it approx 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. No wi-fi coverage in the rooms, only in corridors and lobby
