honest people and clean as plus close to the main square and close to everything one wants
clean, friendly, extremely well located. Has all you need for a very good price.
In the center of Madrid 5 minutes to Puerta del Sol. each time go back the room you need to ring the reception. 24 hours reception
wifi doesn't work at all. a bit noisy at about 3:00 in the morning. small Room and bathroom. the smell is not good.
1.excelent sound-proof. There are two windows on the balcony. 2.the bright color of the bed linen. 3.the location, very close to the plaza del sol.
1.the staff of the night shift is rude.Every time you leave the hotel, you are required to leave the room card on the recepcionist and "buzz" first to enter the main door to get the card and then "buzz" to get into the second door. One time, my friends got into the room first and i had to "buzz" again, and he shouted at me "where is your card!? WHERE IS YOUR CARD!!!! WHERE IS YOUR CARDDDDDDDD!!!" which is not comfortable at all! 2.you need to pay for the airconditioner, the safety box and the towel if you have stained it. 3.the mattress is a little bit hard. 4.the bathroom is humble.
The location is great in the heart of city centre.
Rooms are very tight, the smell of the room is ackward anytime you enter it, & you have to call the reception by enter phone to be able to enter the building and again to enter the Hall way that leads to the room!!!
Location, location, location - very centre of Madrid, close to the action, good restaurants etc. Price Not that noisy, considering the location
Room rather small Have to sleep with open window due to insufficient ventilation
City centre location
Room and bathroom very small and difficult to get on and out of bathroom! The staff did not get radiator control sorted despite making request on day two.
single rooms were very small.
This hostel is really good for tourists which prefer to walk around and see the most interesting places in Madrid. The location is just great - it's very easy to find the hostel and also it's very simple to reach all most wellknown objects such the Cathedral, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Mayor etc.
the location is perfect!
I liked the fact it was so central.I know Madrid as I have lived there and was able to get to all the attractions I needed such as markets, museums, shops without wearing myself out. There was a staff member, Oscar, who was there when I arrived. He was friendly, efficient and always smiling, unlike the rest of the staff.
My room was around 4 m squared, maybe less. I have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms in the past and this takes the prize as the smallest. My room was not cleaned on day three. I left from 12 to 1 but the room was not made up. Cleaning staff leave at 2 p.m. I was told later in the afternoon room could not be cleaned. I took a large bag of rubbish and gave it to the receptionist. He later made up my bed and replaced towels. However, floor was not washed or swept. Breakfast was chaotic, tables left cluttered with dirty plates. One waitress doing everything and clearly needed help. Avoid rooms 212 and 217
Location is perfect! Good typical Spanish bars around. For that price it is perfect!
Noisy, wifi was working in a not good way.
Good central location
Staff in general not very nice, dirty room (stains on wall, dirty shower frames..etc), in need of proper cleaning, in need of renovation, very narrow bathroom.
Good location: it is very close to the Metro station of SOL. The room is tidy because the staff clean it everyday and change your towels everyday.
The room is a bit small. There is no comupter to use.
Centralise n easy to go to other places. Near train station.
Saturday night abit noisy. Xpensive rental for air cond controller. No kettle to boil hot water. The rest ok.
Good place for stay. City center, everything is really close. Staff is really nice.
If you want a quiet place to sleep, this hotel is not for you. Every day next to hotel playing music and people make noise.
Location quite good.
Air conditioning remote extra cost. Minuscule room and bathroom. Do a dance to close door to get in shower. Windows open to tiny triangle space of other buildings and air cond units. No air or light.
I had everything I needed in a very well located small hotel. I was at the center of all actions that were happening in Madrid and I wanted to be part of.
Not being able to take the room key with me and therefore having to report at reception when arriving or leaving premises every day.
Good location, small room but very tidy.
Helpful staff, good free wifi, great location with excellent bars and tapas etc. nearby
Noisy celebrations for much of the night - need to keep windows closed. Quite a small room and tiny, cramped shower.
- Personnel was awesome (24/7 on the desk) - Good location at the heart of Madrid (Puerta del Sol Metro ~5min) - Best price/quality
- Sometimes slow wifi - Weekends might be noisy
Its 2 minutes walking distance from the main Sol square. Location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are too small. If you are travelling with a big suitcase you may find that there is not enough space to open it in the room.
the breakfast price
the bathroom was verry DIRTY !!!!!!!!!
Great location, close to everything.
The room was a little bit small for two people.
