Our hosts were charming and our attic room comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent for mountains and sea as well as Ribadesella. Our final stay in Asturias leaves an excellent memory.

attentive, friendly owner, Melanie and her mother; excellent homemade breakfasts; quiet location yet close to area attractions with a car.

Our schedule didn't allow us to stay longer

Everything from the initial welcome to the final good byes.

Maybe my memory is getting poor or maybe I didn't scan the web site page thoroughly enough, but I don't recall when booking the stay that there was a warning given that the first night's booking would be charged immediately which meant my credit card incurred a charge, one of those little things I try to avoid. If I had known that they wanted the first nights charge paid in advance then I could have used another method of payment and avoided a charge. One of those little things which is annoying to those of us who have to budget our expenditure and I would rather spend my money on good accommodation than give it to the banks. So possibly it is the fault of the Booking.com web site designer rather than the lovely proprietors of Tiu Xico.
