Hotel Madrid is in central Torrevieja, a short walk from the beach. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and all rooms offer free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Hotel Madrid has a large sun terrace. Bicycle and car rental are both possible on site. The hotel is a short walk from the Town Hall. Torrevieja is also famous for its churches, the Casino and the Jardín de las Naciones gardens. Boat trips are available to the island of Tabarca. The Terra Mítica Theme Park is 62 miles away in Benidorm. Alicante is also nearby. Decent hotel within walking distance from beachfront boulevard (10 - 15 minutes). Staff friendly and helpful. Room was very decent: bedroom with separate sitting room (both with balcony), bathroom small.

Ideal location for the commercial/ town centre, close to seafront and not too far to beaches; a good breakfast selection! Just a bit rough around the edges, here and there; e.g tiles on bathroom wall could do with tidying up.

The staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. I will certainly stay there again. Nothing was too much for them. It is in a very useful situation whereby one can get to most of the places one has to do dealings with. It is also near to the pleasant beaches and gives one a chance to relax somewhat. A most enjoyable stay.

Not luxurious, but nice hotel, quite cheap, and located in walking distance (15 min) to the city center, port and beach. Our number was spacious and light, with two rooms, two balcones, refrigerator and conditioners. No parking, No swimming pool. It was a pleasure for us to stay there in December, enjoying hospitality of personal, empty beaches and surrounding restaurants with Spanish food and wines. But I do not sure that I will select it in the season.

Convenient, clean, basic. We stayed in Nov/Dec and had to ask for extra blanket as cold. Marble floors with no rugs which made it cold - in winter a couple of rugs on floor would be better. Couldn't work heating. Take it for what it is - cheap, basic but clean.

It met our purpose - we had sold our Apartment in Calle San Luis, and had to fill a 2 day gap before flying home. The only thing we regretted was the facility to make coffee in our room. This is common practice in uk Hotels.

Good situation for my purpose and reasonably priced. Room was basic but clean. None of the words above describes it for me. Got very little sleep due to noise. Staff tried to be helpful but knew very little English and I don't speak Spanish. The breakfast was basic and the bread stale on one morning. I presume the three stars were because the room had private facilities, but these were very cramped and it took a very long time for hot water to reach the tap in the basin and the shower. Total waste of water. I would recommend it with reservations. I stayed there because it was near my friends I was visiting.

. Staff was very polite. Hotel is about 5 minutes walk to torrevieja town centre, I found parking just side the hotel, free, lots of selection of food for breakfast, My room was very clean and nice. Enjoyed my stay

Good town centre location and low cost. The car park which was advertised as "on site" was across the road and in another building in a side street more than 100 metres away. It was difficult to find and invovled using a car elevator. Very inconvenient if you need to use your car while you are staying there.

Room was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was edible with a reasonable selection of buffet items, although nothing hot. The coffee was horrible, but that's not unusual in Spanish hotels.
