I stayed for 1 night on a flash deal, the hotel is OK.You are not far from Murcia Airport and Alicant for that matter.I Had to pay extra for parking, poor aircon, hard mattress-but that can be your preference. There is a Mitchelin star restaurant on site which we did not use due to the fact that there is a beautiful old house restaurant in the village. The Village of San Pedro del Pinetar is lovely, goes down to the beach of the Mar Menor and there are various restaurant types within easy walking. This is a much better base to visit the Mar Menor as it is not as destroyed as the towns further up the coast. You can bike hire from the hotel to visit the sand walks nearby. Poor aircon

Helpfulness of the staff. This was a business trip with Inmobiliaria White Coast Realty Investments who use your hotel for their clients.I was very happy when it was no problem photocopying and faxing my documents. Wifi in reception area was very useful.

Everything really, can't fault anything, it had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast orange juice was really awful - here we are in sunny Spain surrounded by orange groves and we get served some cheapo horrible juice - bring in the fresh juice it makes all the difference.

I was a very good Hotel, clean, large comfortable bedroom, nice breakfast, rent a bike in lobby, close to nature reserve, and mostly Spanish guests (no awful groups of British youths) which is great.

Perfectly good at the discounted price. Big balcony (room 219), clean and well kept.. Bit characterless in a business hotel way. No tea making facilities.

We thought the location was very good - being very central for both the town centre and the beach. We thought the reception staff could have been more approachable and friendly. All other staff were excellent and although had limited English, were happy to help and try and understand our limited Spanish.

We thought the hotel was in a very poor area and too far away from the sea. The general areas of the hotel were quite poorly furnished and the place had a cheap feel to it. Definitely not 4 star.

Pleasant hotel in good location for beaches eating places and nature reserve. Good swimming pool with great views of surrounding area. Very disappointing main courses at the buffet evening meal in the restaurant considering it claims to be mentioned in the Michelin Guide. However the snacks in the cafeteria on the ground floor were delicious and very good value.

The relaxing atmosphere the hotel provides and access to St Pedro area which is a pleasure. There are no hot drink facilities in the room such as Coffee, tea and chocolate, we missed this as it comes as standard in English Hotels. E needed a drink without having to go down to the restaurant or calling room service.

Excellent modern facilities, finished to a very high standard. We were upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The buffet dining was excellent value for money. This was an overnight stay at the end of our holiday before flying home from Murcia airport and Hotel Trania helped ensure we went off in style. The buffet restaurant was excellent but more subdued lighting would create a more intimate feel rather than the top class canteen facility on offer at present.

Very helpful on reception, even helped us with bus timetables etc. Food was of a very good standard we liked the buffet as one of our party was very fussy, but always managed to find something to their taste. The walk to the beach was a little trying but worth the walk as it was very safe and clean with gently sloping sands. We had a very large balcony but our friends was so small it was unusably. Their air conditioning was very good, but ours didn't work for several days over a weekend.

Location to St Javier Airport and the main road system. It is also close to great Beaches. The roof terrace bar is a good place to relax*. Food is good, but little different to other hotels in the area (like the Barcello)

Hotel was very comfortable, cool and well presented. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and fresh. Beds were usual hotel standard - a bit hard - but ok. Aircon good in room, and a fridge too. Pool bar on roof excellent - good for snacks and somewhere to sit that was lovely and cool. Staff friendly and very helpful. Hotel is a fair walk from the beach/restaurants - about 20 mins. Not a very good range of restaurants around - mostly fast food etc.

The hotel is always clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful, it is an ideal location for relaxing, with many restaurants and shops at hand. The bedrooms are really comfortable. A very good hotel, worthy of the 4 stars Bring back the waiter service in the restaurant and increase the number of english tv channels in the bedrooms
