Hotel Trave  

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre an 15 to the Salvador Dali Museum. Parking lis free and monitored by camera. Another bonus is the swimming pool, which was a welcome refresher after a long day on the road. We enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet.

A bit noisy with late night patrons at the bar - something to be expected in Spain!

Easy to find with GPS. Free parking with CCTV. Our 2 medium sized dogs accepted with no charge. (this is not always the case in Spain). Comfortable, warm (January) room. Excellent restaraunt with extensive choice, excellent service, & reasonable price. Buffet breakfast served in the bar was good, with choice of warm or cold food & even champagne (cava). Great value.

Good location for tgv into France, and the Hotel provided free transport. Breakfast was good, and the Hotel was well located in Figueres.

The location of the hotel is just outside the city centre (10 minutes walk, slightly hill upwards). The direct environment (suburb of the town) is very quiet. Swimming pool is nice, not very big, some chairs but little room around it. Closed and secure parkingplace. Staff is somewhat distant but very friendly. Breakfast is very good (cava included) and you can sit outside on the terrace. Restaurant looks poor, but there are plenty very nice restaurant in the city centre. 10 minutes walk from salvador dali museum. Figueres has a very nice city centre, carfree and also great for shopping!

The rooms are very basic (not renovated). Beds are ok, bathroom is big with a bath. Try to get a room with a balcony (superior room) then you have a nice terrass to sit on the sun side. There are a lot of rooms with a small window overlooking an internal corridor. It is a three star hotel focussing on spanish people. Still nice for one overnight stay or city trip Figueres.

ideal overnight stop on journey. great location in pleasant town close to motorway.maintains high standards of service. very good value for money.

Easy walk to centre. Pool. Large secure car park. Relaxing tapas bar.

Thin walls, you can hear a lot of outside noise, also the restaurant was really expensive.

The sat nav took us straight there. Checking in was easy - my wife has a little Spanish but there again the receptionist had a little English! The great disappointment, however, was that on Mondays (the day we checked in) the Regional Specialities are not served - only a set meal which did not appeal to us (and looked to be exoensive for what it was). We chose to eat elsewhere but had to use the car.

Booking.com ought to make it clear that the Regional Specialities are not aviable on Mondays.

I have chosen this hotel for his free parking, and a room with a terrace which were excellent. Also the breakfast was in buffet with a lot of things to choose from

The rooms needs a lick of paint and generally updating.

We liked very much its location and the fact that it was a very beautiful, comfortable, quiet,clean and very nice decorated hotel.

Bij hotel Trave is een fijn groot & diep zwembad. Dat kwam ons goed uit!!! Het was nl erg warm en er stonden genoeg fijne ligstoelen. Het restaurant is geweldig en het is heerlijk eten!! Echt sterren restaurant. Wijh hebben daar genoten!!!
