Hotel Travessera  

There were really helpfuj staff, we wanted borrow bottle opener, glasses, towels on beach, plates and they didnt have any problem with it.Also everybody can speak English. It's close to awesome Güell Park, Sagrada Familia and two metro stations. In room is little fridge, so you can have cool drinks.

We were in room for two people and there was not any window so we had to have turn on lights all day.

Very friendly personnel and good location ;)

The hotel staff spoke very good English,they were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. The room was a good size. The location was good, about 15mins to the Sagrada Familla, and 5mins from the Park Guell. We paid 39.6 Euro which did not include b/fast. You can get b/fast just around the corner for less than10 euro for two people

There is no lift, but the rooms are on the 1st floor so it is not a major problem

Hotel could not offer adjacent rooms so upgraded us to an apartment at a small extra cost. Hotel is also pet friendly.

A nightmare to park. The hotel has a car park and there are plenty around but all underground with height restrictions. We had extra height on a roof rack and could not use these car parks. Street parking was full and no disabled places available for visitors, only locals. There were two disabled people in our group, which made things very difficult. Not the hotel's fault, but useful to know the parking situation if arriving by car.

Location

I liked the hotel Travessera for excellent english speaking stuff, they can answer all the questions and help to get to any place in Barcelona, provide you with map and the description of the city. Also the location of the hotel is convinient enough - the bus stop which goes to the centre is just at the corner, the metro station is in 5-10 minutes walk distance, Sagarda Familia is in 15 minutes walk distance from the hotel. Cleaning was every day

The rooms are not very big.

We had a reservation for double room, but upgraded it to apartments. Apartments were great equiped. Location is perfect 3 minutes walk from Parc Guell. And many main visiting places of Barcelona, such as Basílica de la Sagrada Família or Plaça Catalunya, you can reach by walk (well we did :). Front desk manager was very nice and helpful

Beds in apartments were not comfortable at all.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The walls seemed very thin so that we were often disturbed by people in the next room shouting even in the night. As it was out of season we couldnt understand why we werent given a room away from others, but this was very much an issue, preventing sleep.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is convenient to Metro and bus lines so that transportation to the tourist areas is simple and fast.

The hotel WiFi is weak and spotty.

Staff were really helpful. Our apartment was cosy and comfortable. Park Guell is within a walking distance and the area is well-connected to the city centre (bus 24, Metro station Alphons X)

Internet connection could have been better.

Friendly, English speaking staff. Location close to Park Güell. Wifi in the room.

Not close to a metro station so maybe not the best location as a central point for visiting Barcelona by metro.

The curtains could not be fully closed and there were no nordic blankets, but for the price we paid it was a very good deal

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. They explained in detail where to find all the local amenities, the restaurants they suggested were very good and reasonably priced, they also told us how to get in and out of the city centre by bus and where to find our nearest metro stations and the best type of travel ticket to buy for the places we wanted to visit during our stay. This helpful advice saved us quite a bit of money.

Nothing really, except I wish the refuse trucks did not do uplifts and 1.00am in the morning!

Friendly and helpful staff

Good location, easy to reach from the airport (about 1 h) close to parc Guell and Sagrada Familia. This is a great value for money hotel. The room was spacious enough and clean, friendly staff. My personal reccomandation for Barcelona: rent a scoot !!! It s the best, easyest and economical way to visit Barca. (30 euros a day). have fun

The price and the location

It was a bit dirty

Room has good air conditioning, spacious and good sized bathroom. 24 Hour reception is very good. Close location to good number of bars, cafes and local buses

Would be good if they included information how to get to the hotel via bus/metro. Bus stops are directly in front but travelers can have difficulty finding their way when first arriving in town.

Bus stop just outside the hotel. There sohuld be information given on how to get to the hotel on the website. Options such as bus, train etc.i walked looked around for hotle for nearly an hour! Very clean basic rooms. Courteous staff and very helpful.

The location is a little away form the the old city and la rambla. not very many choices of restaurants around.

It is situated in a quiet street which you can surely have a good slew in Barcelona. Spacious room. Hotel staff is very friendly. Eur 4x for a twin room. Value for money.

15 mins walk from Alfons x Metro station.

Good apartments, Nice english speaking personal. Good deal for that price.

Internet access is litle bit slow.
