My daughter and I had a lovely stay in Malaga on our way to Jerez. The staff where very friendly especially the man on Reception when we arrived who when we had settled in and were ready to venture out gave us a map and explained where everything of interest was, showed us where to eat where to go for a drink. All in all very helpful, would definitely return.

I think it was verty good value for money, with friendly staff, and it felt secure Nothing much. It perhaps hasn't got the prettiest view, but I don't spend much time looking out of the window on holiday anyway.

It was witihin easy walking distance of major attractions such as Picasso Museum, Beaches, Picasso Birthplace House, Alcazaba, and an urban environment. Close to bus lines. it is on a quiet dead end stree so little noise at night. Comfortable sleeping. The shower had to be one of the smallest that I have ever been in.

The location is excellent, you are right in the middle of the city, nothing is too far. From the train station we first cought a taxi, which was only 4 euro to take us there, but on departure we sinmply walked to the station. The room was just enough for the two of us, we stayed 2 nights. It was very clean. However they do not have bar or selection of snacks, there are many shops neatby, we only discovered too late, if you come out at the front and turn right, on one of the back road about 20 m away you can find everything. The walls are thin so you can hear some noises, but not too bad.We didn't come to sleep a lot anyway.

It was a quick visit, but very nice to see this standard in a budget hotel with a good location to shopping and the central and main train stations. No breakfast option

24 hour door people very friendly and with good english. The building is drab on the outside but the furnishings and stairwells are very recently renovated, modern, clean and pleasant. Nice duvet covers as seen in the photos. Excellent bathroom and shower for this price range. Price was very cheap and location made it an easy walk to pretty much everything we wanted to see in Malaga. Easy walking distance to the big Alameda Principal bus stop, to which you can get a 2e ticket straight from the airport (45 mins). Didn't bother us really, but it's in a fairly dark, ugly little alley, and a little hard to find. The ibis nearby is visible from the main road, if you head towards that and hit the river you are very close. Once you are within 100m you might be able to spot the hotel trebol sign which is about 4 stories up. If you don't have gps, make sure you have a really detailed map as most of the surrounding streets don't really have street signs so it's hard to work out exactly where you are.

Excellent and modern hotel in the centre of Malaga. Great value for money. Very helpful staff on reception. Clean and quiet rooms. Parking is possible next to the hotel in the underground car park Parking is relatively expensive even with hotel discounts (5 euros per night 20-09, 18 euros per 24 hours or 35 euros per 48 hours)

Location was very good. Quiet at night. Parking was in a car park just around the corner and you buy a discount voucher from the hotel which saves a lot of money on the standard rate. They seemed to skimp on the toiletries and quality of towels but otherwise everything was fine.

The location in the old town was perfect - near restaurants, bars, museums etc. There was nothing we disliked, although the bed could have been a bit softer and we would have preferred to have a hand towel in addition to the bath towels in the bathroom.

Hotel Trebol was (as many others have posted) very clean and comfortable. It has a great location on the East of the old town 50 m North of the indoor market. This makes all the main attractions in the old town, Malagetta Beach / Promenade and the Train and Bus stations with in easy walking distance. However despite such a good location it was as quite as you can expect from a city centre hotel. The old town has a wide range of bars and restaurants ranging from the very basic locals bars / cafes through to incredibly trendy (and expensive) ones. We were in room 102 and the hairdryer didn't work and the shower head holder had broken.

- The room was very clean. - window with a view on a patio. So, little light, but very quiet! - Price/quality top! - Difficult to find. No parking. - But there is a public parking nearby. The hotel can arrange a discount. We paid 5 EUR for like 12 hours.

Hotel Trebol was a short distance from the airport by Taxi. Hotel Staff were a great help when we arrived as we were only staying one night and needed somewhere to eat. Central Malaga was a short walk away, and we were able to locate the Cathedral and the main shopping and eating areas with the directions given. The room itself was comfortable and well equipped, which led to a comfortable nights sleep. We popped out for Breakfast in the morning and also visited the indoor market which was a short walk away, before returning to check out.
