Very beautiful hotel,excellent price, very good and quite location, wonderful breakfast and new decoration..

The matress slips when you move... Some furniture where damaged..

Modern room with comfy beds, nice roof terrace. Great quality of WiFi. We paid EUR 50/night, so it was very attractive price.

The double room was good with a good bed and bathroom as well. The location is ok, it's about 10 minutes walking from Selva de Mar or El Maresme. From those places, you can take Metro l4 to the city centre (15 minutes). We have taken the bus as well, which we preferred. You can see more sitting on a bus than sitting on the metro. Also, the big shopping centre "Diagonal" is near the Metro stations. You can walk to the beach in approximately 20 minutes. If you rent a bike (which we really advise), you can directly go into the city centre through the Av. Diagonal or go to the beach and along the beach to the city centre. We have used the breakfast only one day and it was very good. Nice terrace on the roof and swimming pool (we didn't use it, because the water was still too cold).

We have chosen the hotel, based on price-quality and available services. At our arrival the sauna didn't work and 5 days later, it still didn't work. I have complained to the reception many times and asked to speak to the manager. They didn't give me the occasion to speak to the mgr and I have even sent a complaint by e-mail to the hotel mgt during my stay. No reaction at all, not even after my stay. The breakfast is 13 eur per person per night. At your arrival, they will offer you a breakfast for the full stay for all persons at 9 EUR/person/night. We were with a family with 2 kids, so this would be 180 eur for 5 nights, which we found too expensive. You can have a much cheaper breakfast around the corner or near the shopping centre. We have also experienced that the room was too hot (25 °). The airco was not really cooling and the only possibility was opening the window (outside it was only 18 °). Again, I have complained about it 2 times at the reception, but further no actions from the hotel. It seems like there is no repair service in the hotel?

An couple of items appeared to go missing from our room whilst staff tried to assist we decided rather than let it ruin our break to claim on our insurance, reception failed to notify us on the use of the safe which i recommend any persons staying here use.

Tryp hotel is a very well decorated hotel with a beautiful design interior. The rooms are very spacious with big, comfortable double beds cleaned thorougly every day.Very polite staff and check-in/out within few minutes.Excellent bathroom facilities.

It 's a bit far (6-8 metro stops) from what it's considered the town center but believe me you won't even mind. The only thing I did mind was that the bathroom has a glass door and that for me it's a bit awkard..

Hotel never replied any of my emails, which is a disaster in terms of communication. No information, no confirmation. Difficult to do business with when every single matter, information must be obtained via booking.com employees. Neighborhood and hotel's surroundings are scary. Looks like death camp in Auschwitz.

the facilty is very impressive and is easily 4 stars and great value for money if very short stay.

poor location in run down area and transport links not great so you spend lot of money on taxis. there is beach about 20mins walk away but crosses busy roads and not great beach. terrific beach near the marina 10 mins in taxi.

I liked the friendliness of staff (Tamara, Sonia). We felt very welcome and the rooms were very clean.

The only downside was the way the water in shower kept changing from very hot to tepid and then very hot again.

Room and breakfast verry good, but attencion with the tv - they charge you 12 euro per every film/song or second of internet...

Nicely designed, spasious room and bathroom, everything clean, quiet surrounding, soft beds, so it's a real 4 star hotel. Comparing to some others of the same price range in Barcelona, it's a very good choice. We payed 58,- for 2 w/o breakfast. Didn't use TV either.

The sauna wasn't really working (it was early Sunday morning). Location is not centred indeed, but if you come to see Barcelona all around, it's a fine 10 min walk to the metro and extra 5-7 to the beach which I enjoyed.

Location of hotel was described on your website as in 'business area' - this may have been true once but the surrounding area is now run down and clearly a 'low income' ubanisation district and VERY rundown. Hotel had a restaurant that was only open until 3pm at latest. Other minor issues with room itself - view, TV system and shower.

Location poor although can walk to metro. Reception poor. Slow check in and don't pre book breakfast as cheaper on arrival.

Very modern hotel with nice rooms, comfortable beds and fancy swimming pool on the rooftop.

It's located a little bit far from the subway (10 minutes walking), in a non-residential zone which makes it quite tiring to go back to the hotel after a long day in the city, and also a little bit scary at night. Besides this, the price is quite high, but Barcelona is a very expensive city and so are the hotels. Although there is free wi-fi, I did't like the fact that you have to pay for all services (i.e. the gym and pool are free, but they even don't leave you a complimentary water in the room; there is a keyboard to use the TV to surf the web, but it isn't free; price of movies was terrifying: about 10-12 EUR).

Just a fraction too far out of the city centre for most of the tourist attractions but nevertheless served by the Metro and ideal location for the beach of you were to visit during the summer months.
