Tryp Palma Bellver Hotel    

This was a fairly bog standard chain hotel. The pool area is adequate and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The checking in process is extremely inefficient. Our "premium" room was pretty small so goodness knows what size a standard room is. The balcony did not get any sun and had a view of other balconies.

Reception often crowded: need more space and staff for the number of guests. Or a more efficient check-in/out system.

No English language channels on TV (apart from BBC World which repeats same News all day!). No tea/coffee making facilities in room, surely this should be standard for premium rooms? Room lighting was not very good.

it is not a non smoking hotel as stated on your web site. a 4 star should have tea/coffee facilities as standard.

Hotel was in convenient position to walk to Cathedral, new town and old town. We also walked to Cala Mayor. Breakfast was excellent Staff were all helpful

Very noisy if you have a bedroom low down at the back of the hotel No tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. No map of Palma on reception. Most capital hotels have map of the area to help you get around

Long queue for check-in (spent 30 min!!!) and check-out, during the breakfast difficult to find clean abe with clean cups and forks and knifes

Good-sized room, with a great view of the city and marina. Wonderful buffet breakfast spread. Nice pool area. Just a very comfortable place to stay, perfect.

Struggling to find anything negative. Sun goes behind neighbouring tall block about 4pm when you're out at the pool!

Staff were not the friendliest especially the bar staff who at times were quite abrupt.

Concierge was excellent, sorted tennis club for us and gave us good places to eat and visit

Hotel is old and tired. No information in the room, had to go to reception for room service phone numbers. Room service food was abysmal. Front fell off one of the drawers. Aircon not very effective.

Professionalism and friendliness of the receptionist who checked us in. The excellent view and location of our hotel room. Comfortable, huge bed. Pleasant restaurant staff. Good selection of food at breakfast. Location of hotel.

Not being acknowledged when I first approached the reception desk. The worn carpet in the hallway outside our room - very shabby, as were other areas of carpet. Large dark stain on carpet at foot of our bed. We felt that the towels were rather thin and grey for a 4 star hotel. We were surprised to find the only toiletry supplies for washing our bodies was a one-soap-does-all bottle of Lux. No hair conditioner, or bubble bath. Aircon/heater did not work.

The location, staff - very friendly and helpful- the cleanliness, the room, the view from our balcony - 13th floor - the advise given by the receptionist to take out a loyalty card that gave us two breakfasts for the price of one, the amazing breakfast.
