This hotel is set on the seafront promenade in the heart of Palma, overlooking the Gothic Cathedral, marina and Bay of Palma beyond.

The Tryp Bellver lies just 1 km from the beautiful old town of Majorca’s capital. From here you can easily travel to any point on this idyllic Balearic island. The surrounding area is full of shops and has some of the city’s best nightlife. It is also one of the island’s most important business districts.

The balcony, the bathroom, the big bed, the breakfast, the location was on the seafront and very close to town...exactly what we wanted

Check in and check out took an age...nice enough people just bad system. Disliked compulsory room service for drinks if you wanted them in your room. Some staff rude.

The room was excellent and like the rest of the hotel very clean. Reception staff were helpfull and the quality and choice of food at breakfast was very good.

The breakfast sessions could have been a bit better organised, loads of tables not cleared and guests wandering arround looking for a table to sit down at and have their breakfast, You always had to wait at reception to be seen - when we arrived we had to wait for over 20 minutes to check in - not enough staff on duty.

Excellent location, very comfortable and clean. Extremely friendly staff, except for a very grumpy bartender ! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a city break in Palma.

room was on the 13th floor, would have preferred if the balcony rail was a bit higher. Was informed by reception that we didn't have to check out until 4pm but on the day we had to rush to be out by 12pm

Very nice atomosphere in the hotel and we had comfortable stay. Price in the hotel bar was also very reasonable. Had a nice room with seaview which helped. The hotel is in a nice location.

Reception was slow. I believe this was more down to the computer system than people. Hotel from the outside is not anywhere as nice as from the inside. This was only an issue when you want to enjoy the seaview from the balcony and all you can see is flaking paints from the walls.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been useful.

Apart from on Reception and the bar tender, the rest of the hotel staff were not very friendly at all. They definately need to smile more :~)

Good location.

Impossible to get hot tea at breakfast - lukewarm at best. On a number of mornings, after 9.15am, staff failed to replenish some of the breakfast items (eggs/bacon/bread). On one occasion many tables lacked cutlery and cups. For visiting English-only speakers, the only available tv channels were news and sport-related or PayTV channels, whereas other non-Spanish visitors also had comedy, drama....
