perfect location,a view,close to everything
a bit noisy, but it is directly in the center
Friendly staff, clean rooms
Bed was not very comfotable
That hotel had a very good location staff was helpful too .The rooms very basic .
I posted 2 letters at the reception and nobody received them yet!
The location is just perfect. we booked sea view room and the view from 18th floor was just stunning!
little bit old
We have stayed at this hotel on previous occasions and always found it good value, but not on this occasion. We had a series of disasters. We asked for a change of room because the smell in the first one was unbearable. The 2nd room we were given was old and dated. The room safe worked initially but then failed to open with our spare cash and documents inside. Even though the man in reception did all he could, we had to wait until next day for the engineer to fix. We opted for a room upgrade at a charge of €40 extra per night. We stayed for 7 nights. This brought the average night price to €165. It was Volvo Race week but was not value at this cost. The hotel did not offer any good will gesture.
The toilet unclean
Central location and spacious bedroom.
Extremely noisy hotel and uncomfortable bed. Not very good value for money.
location is fantastic , best in alicante high floors offer breathtaking views, will definatly go back
hotel was very dated, air conditioning didn't work needed comp, lete overhaul
location size if room and bathroom
mattresses extremely uncomfortable, creepy crawly in bathroom @ night, no pressure in shower, week flow of cold water in bidet, hotel craying for total refurbishment
parking too far away AC very noisy
AC was marginal, but there was AC. Hotel said there is parking, but failed to mention that parking is 6 blocks away, not related to the hotel, and you must figure it out on your own. Fortunately I figured it out, but many travelers would get frustrated
Excellent location. .. previously stayed at this hotel and returned due to excellent service. Lovely hotel.
Staff very helpful, cheap
very noicy street, very outdated furniture, AC not working well no shower but only bathtub not easy for people having some special needs Bar was "open" but no bartender....
The location, nearby city, Beach, restaurants an shopping. Kind and helpful staff, cleaning very good.
We visited Gran Tryp in early september, there was + 30 degrees and the aircondition was placed under the window, which resulted in the cool air went under the bed, instead of around the room. It was so hot in the room that we had trouble sleeping.
location, excellent bath towels
Hotel is looking tired, revolving doors not built for suitcases, so don't try to get through with them. air-con very old
- The breakfast was poor and unhealthy. - My room was not very clean. - the bed was not specially comfortable
Great location, Great staff, Great views. I would recommend it to anyone
The hotel is maybe a little dated but , Hey this is Spain and if you want to sit in a hotel room all day, Stay at home!!!
Paid a lot of money for this hotel and was so gutted when we arrived. Location was fabulous but the hotel is nothing like the pictures on this website. We paid nearly three hundred euro for two nights here and the room was terrible! Very old fashioned
Centrally located Good wifi
Old Small room Bad air-conditioning Dirty
Breakfast Good quality food
Had problems logging in to wifi
The only thing that this hotel has going for it is the excellent location and the breakfast is quite good. The staff are also friendly and helpful.
The lifts in the hotel are terrible, as we were on the 20th floor with a pushchair we had to rely on it and on at least four occasions during our stay we had to wait about 10 mins for it to come. When we arrived at the hotel we were given a very shabby room. On closer inspection it wasn't very clean and what they had called a 'balcony' in the description was merely a window which you would have to climb through to get onto a small area which had leaking water coming from the air con. I rang down to reception and said we did not want to stay in this room. We were then moved to another one which was more acceptable. This hotel rates as a four star but personally I would say it is more like a three star.
