Located direct to beach front Lovely restaurant on beach (not hotel) direct through gate Breakfast excellent - wide variety of choice and many healthy options 10 mins from Malaga Airport but quiet
All the staff were realy helpful and friendly. Room was exclent with view of Beach etc. Meals fair price, quick and lots of veriety. Recepiton staff were welcoming and experianced, their use of English made things easy for us. Taxis were there any hour not great on English but tried and friendly too.A relaxing stay for us.
Not a clock to be seen in the foyer area or on the wall at reception, a must. One of the Reception Ladies was almost rude to everybody, did not like the Public, A request in English treated with scorn. She let the rest down badly. The area around the Hotel not great but away from the City noise.
I have never been ignored at a hotel reception befor visiting this hotel. The reception staff were appalling.
The relaxed atmosphere
The massage room was up some very questionable stairs
Great veiw, tasty breakfast, free parking, handy to bus stop to malaga, near to airport, nice pool and plenty of loungers good access to the beach
The restaurant staff were fantastic...very attentive and friendly. The food selection was great for a short break (may have become a little repetitive after a longer period as there's only one restaurant). Pool was a good size and good to have a baby pool too. Our children loved the pool area with a handy access to the beach!
We had a bad experience. We were informed (twice) that we could upgrade our full board to all inclusive. I was told by two separate members of staff to just organise it upon arrival at the hotel. When we arrived and asked to upgrade, we were told that we weren't staying long enough to pay the upgrade. When I tried to explain about the conversations, the manager wasn't interested and pretty much called me a liar stating "first you said you some to a lady, now you're saying you spoke to a man" and showed aggressive body language (hand gestures) just because I continued to try to explain what I had been told (please note I that I remained polite throughout our discussion / my dressing down)! I was very offended (and a little shocked) at his behaviour. This put a dampener on the start of our holiday. When we departed, my husband informed reception that the restaurant staff had been excellent...but they didn't seem to care!
Very kind and helpful staff! Traveling with young children we were very glad to find out about the lunch/dinner buffe, 18 euro/adult and children half price! Free parking, bus-stop right outside, close to airport, nice pool - and beacharea.
Located right on the beach, Playa nudista 500m away, local bars are ok, nice walk to Torremolinos along the beach (1.48mi), the local spanish people we met were all friendly and pleasant. (except the staff at the Tryp!)
Staff have a couldn't care less attitude, lack of information in the hotel, we mailed the hotel twice when we made the booking to ensure we could book a premier room on the 8th floor with an odd number, like 817, these rooms overlook the beach and Torremolinios and get the late sun. We were mailed back to say it was booked, but when we arrived we were given 802, with a view over the urban area. We complained to be told tough, you can have it tomorrow. We were moved the next day to a new room, which had one cup, and theres two of us. Mrs asked a staff for another sup and she said it was broke, you get it tomorrow, presumably we were meant to share a cup. After a brief argument the mrs came away with a replacement cup. We probably would not stay here again. There are other hotels along the promenade in Torremolinis which is a short walk away along the beach. We would try them next time.
Just am overnight stop so location close to airport worked for us.
Only dinner pion at the hotel was a buffet. Not too good !
Everything. We have stayed here on about 7 occasions. That speaks for itself!
Nothing at all. Alwas good!
It was close to the airport. Our room was clean.
It is not a family friendly hotel. there was no place to get a snack or even milk for a baby unless the controlled dining area was open. The tiny pool outside bar was the only option in the afternoon other than the controlled dining room. In the morning you could not even get a cup of coffee until the dining room opened. For a four star hotel it was sadly lacking in amenities other than the pool. Even the hotel shop was closed on Monday. You could not even take a cup of coffee to your room.In fact we felt we had to hide a pizza that we brought in. We had to find a tiny store to buy croissants because the bar and dining room were only open specific hours and you could not take any food out . The only friendly person was the outside pool bar manager. He sold us a bottle of milk for the baby. The dining room manager was officious and had no interest in being helpful. the hotel did not have an adjoining room as requested. Our was old and noisy. At night the outside gate was locked and a staff member looked at us and even though we had the code to get in we had to carry the baby around front. A staff member just shook his head at us. The hotel is good for travelers who are catching a flight. It is certainly not a family resort and was disappointing based on the reviews we had read. I do not know how it got a four star rating but it does not deserve it. We have stayed at many resort hotels in Aruba, the Dominican, Mexico, US , Canada, Ireland and all were superb. This hotel is just that, a hotel.
Location,food was good.
Some of staff were Rude.
Location is great
Not a lot of restaurants close by
Friendly staff Very helpful for early breakfast before early flight Close enough to Malaga airport but still by the beach Great buffet supper ideal for my wife who is diabetic plenty of choice
Could do with luggage trolleys,
Having to pay for pool towels.
super beds, hotel next to the see, very good brekfasts and dinners
a bit far from other holiday destinations and Malaga
The spa was a joke. Locals or staff working out. 15 euros a day to use a cheap hot tub for 20 minutes, no thanks. Bar staff closes randomly. Couldn't get a coffee anywhere on property after 10:30 am till 2:00.
The staff were very polite and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Room was not noisy.
Excellent location if you need to be near the airport. Excellent facilities and right by the sea but a long way from the town.
The air conditioning appeared to be fixed between certain temperatures. The room was too warm and stuffy at night. Be careful the drinks at the bar are very expensive
We liked the location right on the sea and absolutely no bothers rom the airport. We paid a little extra and got a 7th floor room right on the sea.
The €20 fixed rate taxi fare from the airport is a complete and utter rip-off. Shameful.
Location, communication with Malaga center, airport and big shopping center, shops and pubs in 2 mins walking distance, lovely surrounding
Changing wifi codes each day, restaurant/bar open since 11am
Well placed with easy access to the airport, in a quiet area of this busy metropolitan area. It was easy to find, free parking, close to beaches with a nice pool and area's to relax. Good food and wine and friendly helpful staff. It served all of our needs.
