Everything was really good- lovely staff, great rooms, within walking distance (20-30 min of main part city). Really good!.
location and external building
wi-fi would not work issues with safe not working shower pressure was useless and never any hot water found concierge clerk abrupt and rude
We found the location great close to the old city, and the hotel satisfactory. Parking was very crowded and small, but OK. No large cars!
They sold us tickets on the Green Bus, insisted NOT TO USE THE RED BUS - a disastrous experience. We are fans of the hop-on hop-off bus but avoid this one - they run red lights, the buses are old, they have a driver only, excessively long stops at unmarked locations, buses have excessive engine fumes which make you sick, many of their stops are not marked. The Red Bus is modern and looks a far better option. Why did they do that? Impossible to set air-conditioning, we slept one night with window open, traffic noise meant NO SLEEP!!
Good sized room
proximity to the Macarena quarter.....bars and restaurants and cafes and historic buildings and "old" Seville
a beautiful roof top pool and terrace seating area with stunning city panorama BUT only open from MIDDAY to 8PM !!! Crazy restricted hours !!!
Very helpful and friendly staff! Good location! Rooms are spot on and beds very comfy!
Had a bad meal in hotel restaurant , chicken was raw inside, but were very apologetic and didn't charge us for our drinks and food
Staff friendliness, room layout and location
The wi-fi was detected on all devices as being not secured and hence connecting was a bit of a hassle. Walls tend to be quite thin as well.
Staff helpful and friendly, room very nice, roof terrace lovely
Only that the weather was so good it was a shame the pool had closed for the winter!
Staff was very kind
The air conditioning was far too strong which made my stay, and specially the meals very uncomfortable.
Breakfast was great, bed comfortable, rooftop terrace & pool lovely . Very close to bus stop for local buses & hop off/on tourist buses
Good distance from the centre, area felt very safe, lots going on even though it's not in the heart of the city. The hotel was smart, staff friendly and knowledgable, good range of facilities and parking (will cost and you need to book it). The barman in the sports bar was brilliant, he picked up on our interest in local sherries and was able to tell us all about local specialities and did a taster session for us, at quarter to one a.m.!
The pool closed for the winter half way through our stay without warning, on a day when it reached 30C, and quite a few guests came back in the early afternoon to use it.
Order your breakfast when you check in - excellent value for money and the best scrambled eggs in Europe - probably! Excellent bathrooms - clean and lovely tiles and fittings. Single room - comfy bed and plenty of storage space. Close to efficient bus route. Good bar.
Climate control dripped water. Corridoors were a little dark and opressive but this was no big deal.
Efficient room service
parking lot was full- Remote parking
From the moment we walked through the door we were made very welcome . Ideal location to mix with the locals ,
Bar prices a little expensive
Proximity to,hop on/off bus
Could only eat breakfast at hotel if selected the breakfast plan. Pool and sun deck had poor open hours. Air conditioning I did not work well. Internet was weak. Had to sit near room doorway to get decent strength.
A very nice hotel. Smart and clean and well situated.
You cannot guarantee a parking space until your arrival at the hotel. Very limited parking. It took a long email to Head Office to reserve a space. The staff at the hotel were not interested. We arrived at 12 midday. The access to the hotel was blocked off. It took 3 trips driving around the surrounding area before we managed, with the help of the police to access the frontage of the hotel. The staff did not know why! We booked in at 12.30 only to be told that the room was being cleaned and asked to wait in the lounge. After 30 minutes we complained and were told that the room had been ready for 30 minutes. Nobody bothered to inform us. They then lost our cases which eventually arrived over an hour of us arriving. Not a good start. Breakfast, normally 18 € each but a special offer of 9€ each at the time we spent, was reasonable for the price of 9€, certainly not 18€.
Very relaxing with a nice swimming pool on the roof. The staff are really friendly and no problem speaking English and they understood our basic Spanish as well. Both green and red buses stop right outside the Hotel to take us on a tour of the city. Night life is vibrant so we didn't feel worried about walking the streets. Highly recomended.
Nothing springs to mind.
Everything was great
Good location. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
On arrival we were told the hotel car park was full and so we had to park in a nearby municipal park at 37.50 euros/day. A member of staff later told us the hotel car park was being used to store a private collection of cars.
Great service by the front desk staff. Comfortable beds. Underground parking is available for a fee but see negatives.
Location is quite far from the city center sightseeing (Alcazar, church) and shopping area and to get there you must cross some pretty dodgy, smelly spots. Pool looks huge in the hotel photos but is quite small snow overcrowded in reality. Getting out of the underground parking can get quite interesting (very tight and steep ramp)
This is a fantastic luxury hotel with amazing views. It has onsite parking underneath the hotel which is very helpful as parking is a nightmare in Seville. A 5 min taxi ride from the cathedral (with the taxi rank right outside).
While we were at the hotel they had an issue with the WiFi which was resolved by the morning. But was not ideal. Kudos for the quick fix though.
Roof-top pool Comfortable beds
Large part of the roof closed off every afternoon meaning the pool area very crowded
Paying 16e to park for one night!
We were glad there was parking an absolute must in Seville. Staff were efficient and friendly. Everywhere was clean and well maintained. A bit of a walk into the centre but all in all a good hotel.
Wifi was non existent!
