In Plaza de España Square, this restored 15th-century palace offers a rooftop terrace with a small seasonal pool and city views. Bluecity Mérida Palace is 215 yards from the Roman Temple of Diana.

Set at the heart of the beautiful, monumental city of Mérida, in the Extremadura region, the hotel is in an ideal accommodation for sightseeing in this historical area, and enjoying the slow pace of...

These comfortable apartments are located in Mérida city centre, next to Diana’s Temple, the Roman Forum and within walking distance of both the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre.

The price and cleanliness of the hotel is very good. It's next door to McDonald's where breakfast is served.
My wife's bed made a noise like a rolling suitcase everytime she turned over. It kept waking me up. We couldn't figure out how to change the temperature of the room. It was too warm...in October. Can't imagine it in the summer. The pool was green.
A great looking hotel. Quite why a previous review said it was the ugliest hotel he had seen, I have no idea. It just goes to show you can't please everybody . We had a superior room with a jacuzzi . Absolutely excellent. We were booked in for two nights but liked it so much we stayed an extra day.
Every thing was OK.
Staff very friendly especially reception.
booked this for on overnight en route through to Malaga and we were delighted. the staff were very helpful, especially in English, with directions and suggestions to make the most of our short time.
Clean and comfortable. Probably a top hotel in the 80's.
Too far from the town. Nowhere decent to eat nearby. Views spoiled by a Carrefour built immediately in front between the hotel and the town. The WiFi doesn't work despite their IT expert insisting it did.
Easy to find and park nearby (free). Room was well appointed with door opening to a balcony. Room at the back was quiet.
The Wifi sign on connection was very cumbersome. It was quite a walk ie 30 mins to the city centre in the heat.
The food outlets abutting and free parking opposite the hotel
The distance from the town centre and a lack of naps etc if you wanted to explore
Looks nice, eles located, 15 minutes walk from the main city atractions. But, at 8 am it,s impossible to keep on sleeping, because of doors and evry kind of noises from other rooms
The room was huge (we had an upgraded one). The bath had a jacuzzi tube ! But all the hangers and the shower were put so high that I needed a chair to reach them:( The decoration was in a Greek style, iron made, I suppose it comes from the ancient history of the town. The outside pool is excellent, big, clear water and not crowded. Breakfast was additional but very good with "jamon", cheeses, toast bread and tomatoes, plus all other regular stuff. The reception staff very friendly. The location: around 1,5 km to the city center, but it can be done in 20 min and it-s a nice walk over the Roman bridge, I enjoyed it.
The room I had looks like made for "giants". As I am not too tall I found a bit difficult to access the shower and the hangers.
Beautiful hotel, shame swimming pool opened the day after we left. Staff very obliging, food very good both breakfast and in the restaurant. Whilst hotel situated out from Merida, local bus service very handy.
Sunday night is not good for eating out. To walk to town + 30 mins
Friendly staff. Secure parking for my motorbike.
Close to motorway and easy to find. Large hotel with large comfortable room and secure parking. Walking 10 mins downhill from the hotel brought us to the roman bridge with lovely views. Roman buildings on the other side. If you walk up the hill slightly there is a lovely square with lots of restaurants. Large breakfast with lots of choices
We did not stay in the square for a meal because armed police arrived and demonstrators. Went back to the hotel for a meal but found no restaurants with diners near the hotel or any diners in the hotel restaurant so ended up having a McDonalds.
The bed was firm but comfortable. We liked the direct access to the hotel from the subterranean garage. The breakfast buffet had a good variety.
The hotel is not close to the monuments, but if you have a car, then distance is not a problem. However, it is close to Carrefour in case you need to pick up anything from the supermarket.
Conveniently situated, not too far from centre though easy to get to by car, with free on-site parking. Very pleasant and helpful young lady at reception, speaking excellent English. Generously proportioned bedroom, with large comfortable bed and good en-suite bathroom. Very good breakfast- extra cost, but very good value.
Rather tired, slightly run-down building, and inconvenient (especially if you have cases to carry) flight of steps up to front door/ reception.
Good size clean room.We only wanted an overnight stay on route, so this was ideal. really good food at a reasonable price.
Clean, comfortable, convenient location, secure parking. Breakfast very good
Nothing worthy of comment
Easy to find, well located for easy walk into Histric Roman old town with lots to do and see, combined with spanish food and hospitality
Having to leave
Easy to find on cross country jouney and close to motorway.
Limited menu in cafeteria and resturant closed.
Staff not trainned, Non smoking room like a smoking room, many mistakes in the check in (incredible...), limited parking and high cost far from the city.
