Eurostars San Lazaro  

It was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The staff is very friendly, we feel warm. Although the hotel is a little far from city, but there is a bus station nearby the hotel. The room is big and the air is fresh, the room also bright and clean. We felt comfortable and happy. This hotel is recommended.

Poor soundproofing in the rooms

I really liked the bang for the buck. 48 euros for so much space is a treat so close to Santiago's center.

The hotel was almost empty but somehow they managed to squeeze all of us into the 6th floor so there was a lot of noise around. Some broken mirrors show that this is still a Tryp hotel, not a Eurostars standard. But the most annoying thing in this and other Spanish hotels is that although Portugal is just 70km away they refuse to understand any word a Portuguese costumer says. I spoke in English but was helpless because the lovely receptionist wouldn't understand it also. And with RTPi in any basic cable package in Spain they keep showing this low-level Brazilian TV that just adds insult to injury. Its really a lame attitude that Spaniards won't find this side of the border. I know that because any hotel in Portugal has Spanish tv.

The food was good, and the staff was friendly and their english was good.

The location of the hotel was very good as the transport links by bus to the centre of the city and to the airport were very convenient.

Fcilities were good

Four a four star hotel and Europe needing tourism, somebody to help elderly travellers with baggage would be helpful.Mind you, this applies to most hotels in Europe.!

The friendly concierge was just wonderful. We loved the easy and free access to the internet. As well, the computer was very fast and effective.

We loved the hotel and everything about it. However, we had a very negative experience at the end of our stay. The concierge very helpfully, organised a taxi to take us to the airport. This is a complaint against the taxi and not the hotel. The taxi was number 40. His meter for payment was not working. We think this was a set up. He pretended it was not working and then when we arrived, he charged us 20 euros. We would be very happy to hear that this is the normal fee, but we suspect that this is not the case! We would love some feedback on this.

Habitaciones amplias y limpias. Ideal para estancias de trabajo, No recomendable para turistas que deseen estar en pleno casco urbano, dado que se encuentra en las afueras, al lado del palacio de congresos.

Las paredes de las habitaciones no asislan el sonido y en determinados momentos pareces estar compartiendo estancia con tus vecinos de habitación.

Es un hotel muy tranquilo, alejado del bullicio de la ciudad. Ideal si viajas en coche, con parking y muy cerca de todo.

El trato del personal , su amplitud y limpieza con relación calidid precio.Tranquilo , con internet gratuito y parking. Con coche todo cerca.

Un hotel perfecto en relación calidad-precio. Autobús muy cerca tanto para ir al centro de la ciudad, como para dirigirse al aeropuerto.
