Hotel Urdanibia  

We found the hotel very comfortable although there was some traffic noise with the window open. The staff were excellent very friendly with an excellent command of English. The breakfast buffet was very good indeed..

The restaurant did not open till 2030 and we like to eat earlier than that.

We stayed at this hotel last year when visiting San Sebastian. Last year our room was fine. We slept well and were not disturbed by noise. This year we were assiged a room that was VERY NOISY. My bed son was given a very uncomfortable (extra) for which we were charged 27 euros per night. When we checked in we were also told that we would have to pay 27 euros extra per dog per night. We have two dogs. We chose this hotel because it said in the description that animals were permitted. The description said we might have to pay extra for the dogs but it didn't specify how much.We found an extra 54 euros, per night, fpr the dogs excessive and told the hotel staff that. Luckily, after discussion with the management, they dropped the charges. However, when we booked the hotel, we thought we would get a bottle of Cavas and a cake. We booked a special offer on Internet. When I asked about these things, the hotel staff said they didn't know what I was referring to, that sometimes these offers were made, but thatn they didn't know anything about them and, sinece they had dropped the costs for the dogs, I should leave well alone!

We like the Hotel because of the convenient position near the motorway also with easy access to Hodarribia where we have a favourite restaurant.We have been staying at the Tryp Hotel over 20 years on our journey from England to Nerja where we have a holiday home. It is always very clean and the staff are always very helpfull.

Lack of air in the room as I was unable to keep windows open due to traffic noise.

Check in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the bar was good. The room was clean and comfortable.

The entrance to the hotel needs to be better signposted as we missed it first time because the Satnav told us we had arrived when we were at the roundabout!

Relación calidad/precio, amplitud de las habitaciones familiares, personal muy atento. Magnífico para hacer noche, como en nuestro caso, que veníamos de París dirección Madrid.

Difícil dar con él a la primera. La ubicación está muy mal señalizada.

Es muy comodo para una noche, estando de paso por la region, su personal nos ha recomendado muy bien los lugares cercanos a visitar y nos atendio con cordialidad

No es fácil de encontrar, aun con gps, ya que no esta correctamente definido. La puerta del baño no cerraba. Como dije para una noche, estando de paso por la zona es suficiente pero podria mejorar

Las instalaciones. La habitación. La facilidad para estacionar el coche. El hotel, aunque sea de tres estrellas, en estos aspectos parece de cuatro.

La ubicación, muy lejana de cualquier centro urbano. Tienes que moverte en coche para ir a cualquier sitio. El servicio, sobretodo malo en la cafetería, con una sola persona para atender a todos los clientes, a la hora del desayuno.

Vinimos por trabajo;y ha sido lo mejor,la estancia.La habitación muy cómoda y el servicio excelente y amable.Muy buena zona de parking gratuito y el buffet del desayuno muy completo y nutritivo!

Bad position,sorrounded by traffic on all sides,not easy to find,difficult to access from the infinite road tanglings around.---- Wifi Does not work---,I filled in a complaint form(a service you do pay for), the receptionist did not even know that he had to fill in a part of it,did not offer me a pen,had to use mine and gave me the wrong copy! ----The Photos on booking.com do not reflect anything of the reality of the hotel----.Impossible to move without a car,too many heavy noisy trafficated roads and motorways to cross.The nearby town of Irun offers very little(to use a gentle word!) and it is very poorly built.---I Left the hotel 2 days earlier out of desperation.---
