The location, close to Plaça Catalunya, the metro and other sights. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable.

The shared bathroom wasn't very clean and the shower would always overflow and get everything wet. The old lady who runs the place said their credit card machine was broken and we had to go out to look for an atm late at night in order to pay and she didn't have change.

The owners were both really friendly and accommodating. Very beautiful terrace right next to our room, with fridges to store some food and drinks. Everything was very clean and tidy, you could see that the owners took good care of the place. Quite conveniently located, as it's a couple minutes walking to Girona station and generally close to public transport and connections.

The room didn't have air-conditioning, only a small fan. The first night wasn't very comfortable but overall, it was bearable.

Really great place for young couples looking for a good price to stay in Barcelona. Easy walk into the centre, right next to the metro and a comfortable room.

Hard to find the actual place, there was no door sign... WiFi is practically impossible to connect to.

Great price for the money we paid Good position The owners are very kind and helpful.

The bathroom is private but out of the bedroom. This is uncomfortable expecially during the night if you need to go to toilette. No name or any information on the intercom and on the main door. We were able to come in thanks to the neighbors and then we looked for the right floor where live the owners.

I loved the position. Turismo Urbano is built in a beautiful and strategic position in Barcelona. The apartment was really nice and all guests could share the balcony and the "sitting room".We paid a reasonable, good price for six nights. The staff was really kind and definitely not intrusive.

When we arrived we couldn't find the entry. If you'll choose Turismo Urbano we recommend you to identify the gym placed in Carrer del Bruc. The gym and Turismo Urbano share the same entry. It was really sad to see that the potencial of the building was huge but the care taken was poor. We're not fussy people, not at all, but we noticed that the bedings were a bit dirty and we found other guest's hairs under the sheets. Everything is super quiet, so if you're unlucky like us you'd go through insomnia at late night. :P

Great old couple take care of this Hotel. It is not really a Hotel but a home turned into one. Very friendly.

It was really hard to find because there was no identification from the outside. It is on the third floor of a regular building with no signs. We had to ask people on the street to see if we were in the right place.

location is ok nice terrace (have to ask at the reception)

everything is very old (towels, bed sheets), bathroom is also poor (towel on the floor was always wet neither in the evening nor in the morning etc.) generally one can live with this considering the price))

Our room was kept clean with the beds and towels changed everyday. The location is great with the hotel being just a 10-15 walk from Catalunya square. There is a nice sitting area out back where you can sit and have breakfast or a drink after the long day exploring. There are also a couple of fridges for guests to used situated just inside. These are shared but we had no problems with that.

The hotel is slighty difficult to find, we arrived at the address to find what appeared to be an appartment building. There is no signage atall, in fact I walked all the way to the top of the building and was on my way out the front door when I was approached by an employee there. The hotel front desk is located on the 3rd floor behind a closed door on the right which looks the same as all the others. Also the rooms are seperated by a wall with large glazed glass doors which are sealed shut. There are no curtains so if you have neighbours like ours whom decided to leave their lights on and leave until the early hours of the morning, should you want to go to sleep, the light floods straight through directly onto the bed. Black out curtains would be a great help. The Wifi signal is not very strong and we had to sit out in the hallway so that we could utilise it.

The owner of the guest house were really nice, their hospitality was awesome. Very neat and clean rooms Nice terrace for guests which was really unique Cleaning service done every morning Near to GironA metro station and central Ramblas Near to beach as well Will definitely stay again

Finding it was a bit hard as there was no name outside the building or else if u just follow the door number its easier

Location and a bottle of cava for free at departure

It's a fraud! No hotel sign could be found at arrival. We asked office personnel in the same building and they thought it might be on the 2nd floor. And it was... The hotel owner told us the hotel did not exist anymore, but when we mentioned our reservation, suddenly the hotel did exist and we got our room. The owner told us this way she could invade governmental safety check for fire extuingishers etc. We think they are bankrupt and now they are running the hotel illegally. A big disappointment since everything but location was very bad!!

    - We have be upgraded to a bigger room with no extra fee! - Very welcoming staff - Close to the subway - Comfortable terrace - Shared fridge

    - No Wifi reception in the bedroom - An extra blanket would have been appreciated (it was in february and the electric radiator was more a light than a real heater)

wifi connection is very good. the location is very near and convenient to places of attraction. allows luggage storing.

the water heater doesn't last long. if you want to have hot shower, be the first few ppl to have shower. or else, you'll shower under ice cold water.

we loved the area although it was very loud and difficult to sleep with the street traffic and garbage truck. I don't recommend the room with balcony and view to the street.

There is only 1 shower for the entire floor with approximately 6 rooms. The shower was in very poor condition and always getting clogged.

the location is very good. it's a simple apartment but it's nice if your are just looking for a place to sleep and nothing more.

room number 4 where I stayed had no air in it and was quite suffocating, and there was a stale smell in it. I am sorry I didn't refuse it at the first day. Also I was charged 10 Euros as city taxes for 4 nights which is way above the stated price in the website. I have no idea how they calculated it and should have refused to pay.
