Clean, Good services, location, assistant, indication services.
Space between this beds and exhaustion system this bathrooms.
Superb facilities with charming design, perfectly clean, very nice and helpful staff
The old window in the room was not closing properly letting a lot of (cold) air in
Good location, cheap price, modern facility.
There was no heater in the room!
Really enjoyed the swingset in the hallway and the nice staff.
My friend who was staying with me is handicapped, and there were only top bunks left in the room we were staying in. Thankfully we were able to switch, but it would be nice to be able to book a lower bunk.
Hot showers. Very clean rooms & bathroom facilities. Provide freshly laundered sheets & coverlets. Locking cupboards (late enough for a full sized backpack).
The included breakfast of white, sliced bread & coffee; was not worth the $. I had better, @ the Albergue's, while walking the Camino.
Clean, large room in good location close to metro and restaurants. Staff spoke excellent english and were extremely helpful and pleasant.
Door slamming with people coming late home or leaving early but it was a hostel and noise is to be expected.
-The location was excellent, just about 10 minutes to the centre. -Very beautiful old building on the outside with high ceilings -Breakfast (a drink and toast/churros) were included in the price -Wifi -Bed linen was included in the price (towel and locker could be rented at a good price) -Showers and toilets were clean
- Because it was located on a very busy large road, there was a lot of traffic throughout the night and found it too nosy to have a good proper sleep. With the balcony closed it would have been more silent but it was too hot to sleep with no windows open - It would have been nice to have some sort of shop/vending machine to get some basic snacks/coffee/tea/water/sandwiches-
They offer good quality service. Public bath rooms are clean and in my floor (5th) have swings! so nice.
I stayed in room 35 and it was a big room with brightness. The bed is big as well . Each person get enough space. Dining room is very big. Breakfast is nice. Very near to the metro station.
The new ambiente, clean, so close to the center, it is very nice decorated
The loud doors, the staff isn't very helpful
The location close to the subway. The breakfast was extra but good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Felt like i am back in the college days Staff is very very helpful Alot activities are planned for us to inter-mingle with other staff I would definitely stay there if i go to madrid again
Nothing I think there Clubcrawl is a little bit of rip off.
Clean hostel, one of the better ones :). Good connections to all directions. The upgraded breakfast (3,50€) was good as well. It was busy and stressy for the staff sometimes but they kept on smiling :) I would recommend this place without hesitation.
Very noisy place to sleep! It´s not the fault of the hostel, though, but the location was not one of the very best thinking about sleeping. Our balcony window didn´t close properly and the street under us had 24/7 busy traffic. Pack your ear plugs and you´ll survive!
atmosphere, friendliness, décor, cleanliness, location
very noisy but loved the balcony
Friendly staff Good location, 30 mts metro Very clear
This was my first Hostel experience and I must say that it was a pleasant one. The 8 bedroom was spacious with lots of light. It was very clean and the individual cubbies per bed, was really thoughtful for the traveler. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Erica gave me a direction sheet (in English) that she made up that was my go-to for everywhere I went!!! Wonderful experience!!
The beds were a bit stiff and the breakfast selection was poor.
Nothing. I choose this hostel because of the tour depature early from this hostel. No doubt its quite new and still clean.
- There are some sewerage smell around the common area. - the staff did not hear my full conversation when i reach to check in and just ask me to wait with busabout group and ended left me wait for 2hrs for nothing??
todos muy bien
This is probably the most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. I travelled with my sister and we had a private room which was really spacious. The wifi works really well in the rooms and the hostel is well positioned - only a 5 minute walk to the main shopping strip etc.
We found the hostel didn't really have an atmosphere and the other guests weren't as welcoming as those you'd find in a small hostel. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I was with a large group of friends.
Everything was brilliant. I highly recommend this place. Great location and easily found next to the metro Alonso Martinez station. Pub Crawl every night & great showers and bathroom facilities.
The wifi was good. Bed was comfortable. Free breakfast
The ladies at reception are rude. Asked a few times for the air con to be on but never got turned on.
Very clean and have enuough shower. Reception was also kind and helpful.
Free breakfast is not that much, but it is okay. It is free
Very comfortable beds, nice chill out room to watch TV for those wanting to relax (although the staff member didn't want to watch the movie which was selected so we had to chose another one!) rooms were nice and spacious too!
I was on the first floor do I could hear the bar downstairs which was a bit annoying, but not too bad. Breakfast is pretty limited, I've stayed in big hostels before that have plenty more options. Other than that was good.
What a great hostel. Large rooms, comfortable beds with their own power point and locker, clean and spacious shower and bathroom facilities. The Cinema room and place to socialise were great.
Check in took a while and the breakfast was not very nice at all. But apart from that I would recommend this place for sure.
Erika and Jesus were brilliant hosts. They not only made our stay so very comfortable but also helped us get around the city immensely. So far, I haven't come across a more friendly and warm set of staff any where else. I highly recommend U hostel. Madrid is a beautiful city and U hostel makes sure you see that. Thank you.
