Score from 157 reviews Excellent
It's located in a very central pedestrian area. But you absolutely can't hear the voice from the street because of double soundproof windows. Best value for money.
clean, you can book flamingo in the hostel bathroom is inside the room
a bit far from the attractions, poor bed
We are lucky that we were assigned the best deluxe room which was amazing with comfortable mattress and big TV (the truth is that the difference of the quality between the worst and the best deluxe room is huge!!! so pay attention!!!) There are double window on the balcony, so the room is quiet. There are free coffee and tea on the ground floor in the morning.
Some of the rooms on the ground floor are very close to the reception and look very humble with interior window which doesn't assure the privacy when other clients passing by. (you have to be lucky, or you will probably regret...)
location, clean, excellent stuff
A little awkward to find but parked nearby and brought bags in. Nice but small room in great location. Good cafe outside and many brilliant bars and restaurants nearby. €13 a day to park 10 mins away. WiFi works. Warm in winter. Cheap as chips. Its a thumbs up from me.
Room small but acceptable at the price we paid.
It was in the centre and the room are cosy and clean
The room was too small and bit oppressive
Staff were lovely
the room was in the lobby - windows opened up into the lobby, with the receptionist just a few steps away, could hear people coming down in the morning. Very strange layout. Wouldn't go back.
It was a very charming hotel in a perfect location
Room was quite small
location, quiet and roof top terrace
being questioned over asking for another hand towel and being asked to bring dirty towels to reception first before they would swap/give us one! we felt like we were being interrogated as being towel thieves! overall though a nice property, basic but nice rooms and a nice terrace and staff on the whole..
Location, the balcony
The helpful service.
A bit cramped in the shower
very good price for good location
had to pay to leave luggage for a liitle while 15 Euros
Good location, clean comfortable, nice terrace for byo breakfast.
Would be nice if they served some breakfast on the terrace.
Ambience, locality of bars and restaurants, roof top terrace at the end of the day, nearness to everything.
Parking. Had ticked parking on booking.com. Presumed that even if 'nearby', we would be able to drive to hotel. Not in Sept 2014 in a large 4x4. Many roads dug up. Sat nav couldn't work out one way streets. It took us 2 hrs to travel the last 1.5km. Car wing mirrors touched side walls in places.
Comfortable bed, good location, pleasant and helpful staff. Even had umbrellas for us to use when it was raining. Coffee in lobby in the morning. (Discount given for parking lot although a 10 walk away)
Parking in lot 10 min walk away (5€ discount on parking provided is good though).
Location Friendly Staff and authentic patio setting in old town
Our ground floor room was small and damp. Private bathroom was spacious and satisfactory About 30% overpriced for given facilities
- Spacious room - Cozy shared terrace on a roof - Good location
- some review said normal room a little bit small, so we take "deluxe" for extra 10 euro - no parking
Daria on reception gave us a warm welcome and suggested where we should visit on our one day trip, she was fantastic. Our room was very clean and basic, which was absolutely fine for us. The bathroom was large considering we had a small room and the shower was good. We didn't mind the window facing into the courtyard and loved the little roof terrace.
The bed wasn't very comfortable, everytime my boyfriend moved I felt it. I think it was just an old mattress but we still loved the hotel!
Staff is polite, helpful and speak enough English which is rare in Spain. We got a map upon the arrival, which was very helpful. Apartments were clean and nicely furnished.
The staff in reception couldn't do more to make our stay a perfect one. The roof terrace is lovely, well-furnished and a real sun trap. The hotel is not in Barrio Santa Cruz but is still ideally located for the Cathedral and Alameda Hercules for nightlife.
Not the hotel's fault but we booked a room with a 'balcony' and the balcony isn't big enough to sit out on, and this was a slight disappointment. Not a big problem as the roof terrace is fantastic.
The location, the place was very clean and the superior double room was normal size
I'm happy we didn't take the economy room or the standard double, we saw them and they were extremelly tiny. A big suitcase would not fit. The location is good to walk but cars cannot get close to the hotel, would not recomend if you have a lot of lugagge. We also found a huge cockroach on the stairs to the room which put me off quite a lot...
We loved it here and couldn't have asked for a better place to end our two week trip around Andalucia. Bright and beautiful surroundings both inside and outside our room. The terrace is an added bonus, especially for the money (we paid a lot more for a lot less in other hostals during our trip). Friendly helpful staff on site at all hours.
having to leave and go home!
The location was great and the staff were friendly & helpful but the room had no window (only onto the interior patio) and the shower was poor.
The location was great and the staff very helpful and nice.
Very, very basic. Be aware that most rooms have no external windows, the windows give to the reception/common area and therefore you may find yourself overexposed. Do not recommend this place for a romantic holiday.
We only stayed overnight and the staff were extremely helpful in terms of explaining where to visit, what traditional restaurant to try and how to get the bus the next day.
The room was very small for 2 people.
