Service and location
The housekeeper opened my door without call. The DND signal was in the door.
- great location - friendly staff
- the room was sort of clean but the rest of the hotel was really bad - breakfast was poor (the croissants were full of small flies) - when we arrived the guy at the reception was completely incompetent to communicate in english
Loved this hotel!it was perfect and people veeeery friendly
The staff were very friendly and ready to share local knowledge. The rooms were clean and spacious with great deco. Ideally located for a short walk into Ibiza town or Figueretas beach.
Could have done with a docking station for the IPod.
Great customer service Friendly staff Location "Different" to standard hotels Comfortable beds Lots of space in room
Breakfast a bit limited
Cleaners very bad smells dirt
The hotel is art lovers dream. All the art work is incredible and our room was amazing, we couldn't believe how lucky we were to be staying in such a great little haven, right in the heart of Ibiza Town just 5mins walk from the Old Fort and Marina. The staff were lovely and very helpful, we could definitely stay again on our next trip and have already recommended it to friends.
The reception area occasionally smelt of cigarette smoke which isn't what you want to smell first thing in the morning when you come down for breakfast.
This hotel has its own very cool atmosphere. The staff at the hotel is terrific. A special thanks to Aisha and Andrea at the reception for their kind and most professional advice about the places to visit and things to do. The major clubs, cafes and beaches are scattered in different directions from the hotel (an average of 10 Euro for taxi, max.20 Euro) so the location is good. You also have bus stops nearby and the old city is only a five minute walk from the hotel down a rather quiet neighborhood. The hotel serves breakfast until 1pm.
The hotel is probably a little overpriced especially considering the fact that you don't have a tv or an air conditioner in your room. Although the absence of both didn't bother me, it's just something I think you should be aware of. The presence of a tv would probably even spoil the interior but I might have prefered an a/c if I were to stay here in the hotter months.
Really lovely little quirky hotel. I stayed in room 101 which was big and had loads of closet space. The bed was gorgeous, I got 12 hours sleep. Wifi was really useful. The major plus point is their wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to help and the barman who made the best Dark n Stormy I've ever had. Food there was also fabulous. The location is perfect, I love Ibiza Town and you're central which gives you the best transport links for the rest of the island. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. LOVED it.
Maria was absolutely fab such a warm & friendly lady. Andrea was extremely friendly & helpful too & made us feel very welcome @ Urban Spaces. The rooms are are good size & we slept really well. Love all the art work on the walls-bit different to your average hotel room. Great gin & tonics served at the bar too.
Breakfast could definitely be improved & ceilings in the bathrooms could do with a lick of paint just to freshen them up.
It is a very nice location, very artistic and simple rooms, very clean and great staff. Close to the city centre and facilities around (bus & taxi station, restaurants, banks). Wi-fi works great.
The door had to be slammed to close .
Funky style, relaxed vibe, super service (especially Maria), handy location for old town and surrounding area
Adriano! He was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time, wish we could have stayed longer! The art - it is an inspirational space.
Location, staff, very trendy hotel
No pool and breakfast a little repetitive
The best thing about this hotel was the staff- they were so helpful in every way. Stored our luggage and helped us w parking, feeding the meter etc.
The wifi was horrible, too many people using it. The bathroom was poorly designed and everything was wet after a shower. No soap to wash hands with. Breakfast starts at 9 am which doesn't work for early risers
Urban spaces has so much going for it. The bed is super comfortable and it's lovely having a sitting area. The wall designs are amazing! The food can be served 24 hrs. The burger and sweet potato chips are wicked. The location is close to town and a organic shop around the corner.Free water downstairs. Such a cool vibe at this hotel.
The free breakfast wasn't great. No T.v in the room or long mirror. Wifi drops out a lot. But that seems common in Europe. Some basic utensils in the room would be good spoons, cork screw etc. These for us weren't major and we would stay again.
Location was perfect for the old twn and figuerettas beach! Marina on the desk was professional! The rest clueless students!
Cleaner did not clean properly! She put used toiletteries back onto the bathroom sink as if they were new or full. - this was bizarre! This was the last straw as my bed sheet was the same for 2 days! So I complained! Great bar upstairs but no one told mentioned it. I was later told by owners who are incredibly nice but offsite hence the poor service. The hotel was very expensive for what it was with cheaper hotels around the corner! Very disappointed. It's an expensive hostel rather than a boutique hotel! No telephones in the bedrooms so no wake up calls in the morning. Safe never worked and they never issued a replacement or fixed it. I was offered a draw downstairs behind the makeshift reception. Breakfast on offered was very limited. You must ask for eggs or anything else as there is little put out so you naturally think there is just juice bread and ham.
Breakfast served until 1pm Very friendly staff Fantastic location Comfy beds Reliable wifi
Breakfast selection was limited Room safe didn't work Repeated requests for soap in the room were ignored and we bought our own in the end
-the big comfortable bed -the location, quiet and central -smiley staff
-communal areas are very small -overall the hotel could do with a bit of refurbishment -breakfast on the basic side
Check in very slow. Guy was too busy doing something else and just sat us there waiting. Room wasn't great - the check in guy gave us the wrong room, then moved us to another and then flushed the loo when going into the room. Not a good sign. Breakfast was pretty rubbish. I know Ibiza is expensive but really expected more for 200 euros a night. Also 'art' was all a bit weird.
Honestly I read some reviews below about this hotel and they made me consider not staying so I am going to make things very clear. This hotel is absolutely amazing! It is an "urban chic" style hotel very New York-ish cool. Someone below wrote "it was dirty and there is paint all over the floors!" Lol ... They did that on purpose it is supposed to look that way! Each room is painted differently which is super cool. The bed was the best bed I have slept in in the past 2 months in Europe! Memory foam heaven! It's a clean place and very spacious. I absolutely loved urban spaces hotel!!!!
The only down fall was that we only got 3 hours to sleep in that magical bed because we got home at 8am and had to catch a flight at 12! I wish I could have slept all day!!! Best bed ever! Haha
I loved how friendly and welcoming the staff were, by the end of the holiday we felt like we were apart of their family!
I can't think of anything I didn't like it was the most amazing holiday.
beautiful place! very nice pictures and I love idea - each room has individual painted. very nice breakfast, and very friendly personnel.
Location close to town centre restaurants and bars. Staff very friendly and helpful.
No balcony furniture, bathroom chrome and tile grout badly discoloured. Room safe was broken. Reception and bar area very cluttered and untidy - looked a mess. Breakfast items very obviously the cheapest they could buy e.g. Eroski basic yoghurt, stale bread and plastic cheese. We paid 185€ for the night so feel that breakfast should be better.
