I liked the rooftop bar area and the minimalist design of the hotel. The cocktail bar on the ground floor had a good ambience The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities in our room were good but the lighting was not great especially for applying makeup. This was not helped by the fact that the room had very little natural light as the window faced an internal wall which was a bit of a construction site. Not great. Drinks were very expensive as was the breakfast, not good value for money. The second day we went out for breakfast and had a much better meal for a fraction of the cost. My 16 year old son and his friends were 'distraught' at the dearth of english language channels on the television.

The room design and style and rooftop pool are excellent The staff - the attitude is very poor generally, and there isn't enough of them. Also the rooms on lower floors are very noisy and could do with new drapes to stop the streetlights shining in.

Rooftop pool at summer! Luxury and relaxing. The room is a bit small for 5 star standards and dark. Some stuff at reception don't bother to seem friendly. Unreasonably Overpriced resto.

All personal were very helpful and friendly during my stay. The Hotel location is also very good. The rooms have no kettle although they offer a free room delivery coffee and tea service till 6:45 am, but the service does not work. I ordered just one time, on the day I was leaving, and the service was not delivered. The cost for breakfast and coffee are very expensive (one espresso costs 4 euro, which is over 5 dollars) and the service in the main restaurant is poor . The TV system in the room is confuse, meaning that there is not a channel guide and in order to find the channel you want you need to pass over all channels in TV. The image in some channels is also not good, with pallid green color....I consider this important when you stay longer in the hotel as I did.

Good location close to most things, modern room with good amenties and it was one of the few hotels that did have a pool and sundeck - the reason for our choice...in the middle of summer The pools hours were abit restrictive -not open till 11am and close by 8pm. The front rooms can be a little bit noisy and abit of noise also from the roof at night if you are on level 5 and the back rooms can be abit dark and only seem to have a queen bed (we were expecting a king)

I loved the room, location, and decor of the hotel. Staff was very helpful. I would like to hire their lighting designer for my home. Everything was on dimmer with a switch right by the bed. Even a button for lowering the shades to make it pitch dark for sleeping. Bathroom shower and tub excellent. We loved it!!! We wear ear plugs to sleep so slight noise didn't bother us. But someone may night like the sounds. Overall fairly quiet for great location in a busy city.

Its location . Rooms are modern and clean yet small I stayed in a Super Double Room but I really did not see any reason why it was called Super because it was small and dark overlooking nowhere but simply a dark shaft although it was described in the web site as rooms overlooking the street. It was so dark that waking up in the morning was a big problem.

Incredibly friendly stuff, amazing design, comfortable rooms equiped with all necessary amenities.. Internet both Windows and mac, whatever you prefer.. Every detail is thoroughly thought out and elaborated design of the room interior and the hotel itself.. Really pleasant stay not only to enjoy the city, but accomodation.. A bit far away from the main shopping area of Salamanca: if this is not first city visit, when it is necessary to visit all main sightseeing places, might be something to pay attention on.. Anyway taxi may be a solution..

Great design hotel, excellent room & breakfast. Love the sculptures from Asia in the rooms and hotel. Some drunk visitors in the bar downstairs got access to the elevator and were rude to the hotel guests. They should stay away from the upper hotel floor and bar.

Location, Roof terrass, nice room (duplex) Breakfast quite expensive and with this price not even Cava. After asking if it was not available, they said no. 15 min later they came and openend a bottle. They gave the impression that is was included, but on the the way out they presented the bill. This gave quite a bad aftertaste and felt very cheap! This you wouldn't expect in a 5 star hotel. Either clarify explicitely it will charged extra or just give it for free.

Excellent location, very good service, modern design, rooftop bar overlooking Madrid. Very pricey. Noisy chambermaids rushing into the room at 8 o'clock. The pool is very small.

“The hotel staff were friendly and willing to accommodate our luggage while we went on a bus tour for southern Spain. In addition, its location was great. Within three blocks of Sol and a block south of Callao, it was still very quiet and comfortable. We highly recommend it if you are planning on visit Madrid Centro.” Gabriel, Mcallen, Texas |
