Pure English of the staff. We were told that the restaurant will work in the evening since 20:00, but actually it did not worked, only bar, we had to eat some tapas instead of proper supper, it was not good for the child. Pure conditioning.

Our room was spacious amd comfortable. We are English speaking on our first trip to Sain. Staff were very helpful despite the language difficulty. Parking was good (despite the charge) We thought the bar menu was not good value for money however the service was good.

bedroom extremely comfortable Although the wi-fi internet is free, the configuration is a bit tricky: it does not work with all operating system, namely Linux; and only allows one device to be connected at a time, if you want to connect a second device you have to ask for another set of credentials.

The location was excellent; easy to find and within easy walking distance of all the historic sites we wanted to visit. There was a bus tour staying at the hotel. In the morning the staff had great difficulty keeping the breakfast buffet replenished. Scrambled eggs, bread for toast, sweet buns, fresh fruit were virtually non-existent when we arrived in the cafeteria and took a long time to be replaced - the fruit never was.

The room was comfortable. The hotel has no charm. Although it was 35 degrees, the swimming pool and the garden were closed for the winter. It was in the middle of september!

We stayed there to attend a performance at the Classical Theater Series in the Mérida Roman Theater. We picked this hotel because it was close to the Theater and had convenient parking. The hotel is quite nice, and the breakfast buffet was among the best I have encountered in Spanish hotels. Our only complaint would be that we wished the pool were open more than 11-20:00.

I liked its proximity to the old city center - it was a short walk there to visit ruins and shops. No real address (no number) - the GPS did not know where to send us; we had to find it visually ourselves. The hotel staff sent me to the nearest debit machine, which was not an international bank. Hence, I spent more time asking for help and finally locating an international ABM. Hardly anyone speaks a second language...it was somewhat frustrating.

location good for sightseeing. Hotel looked tired and surrounding area was unkept and rough. Breakfast that was included was not worth taking no flair or imagination in display and meats looked dried up. Coffee was stewed, not very good at all.
